You can use anything which attracts flies. But it must be in liquid form for the flies to drown.
Chocolate milk also works
I’ve tried this multiple times. It has never caught more than 1 or 2 flies in 24 hours. I can’t understand why it is recommended so often.
Keep the solution for a week. The more it gets old the more chance the flies gets attracted to this trap.
@@lijilthomas I will give it a go. I noticed once that a 1/3 full glass of Guinness beer collected a bunch of flies one night, so I might start an experiment with that, too.
