I don't think I did either. Ok , so to recap, I spent to long at the airport lounge and missed the budget airline flights that would have got me home I then needed to buy a more expensive ticket which was business class and travel through the night to make my final destination. Arriving many hours than originally planned and costing a lot more
1:10min Mate, I know you've talked about it in another video, but could you please just mention what type of insurance is it with Barclays that comes with lounge access ? Will appreciate. Cheers!
No worries, it's just basic travel insurance. It was only £18 a month, but they recently raised it to £22.5. For that you are insured for all the usual holiday things. You get 6 free visits to airport lounges a year. They are usually the ok lounges like the Aspire or Escape lounge that you would find in most major airports in the world. The pass that gets you these is called the " Dragon Pass". If you exceed the 6 visits, then it's only £18.50 a visit, which is still a great deal. What I waz aiming for by getting tier points with Finn Air, and status with the One World Alliance, would get me access to lounges on a completely different level . Google the British Airways Executive Club scheme for more details on it
@@MorgansWorld760 I live in Ealing W5, we should meet for a pint one day...I was born in Krakow, Poland. Perhaps we can go for a city break together next year, Prague, Budapest, Bucharest...
@shaunhunter3350 Yeah, mate, I had to get back to work etc. The budget airline flights were also at ridiculous prices with such short notice. However my original one was only £25. The good news is now, is I'm a Silver member of the One World Alliance group , so it's champagne and high tea for me, every time I'm able to use their lounges when permitted
Positive attitude!
I really enjoyed this video.
Glad you finally and safely made it back to London 😁.
