  • I spent 9 days in Batumi, Georgia and want to share my impression of this coastal town. In this video, I am talking about Tbilisi - Batumi train, weather, prices and general impression about the city. In addition, you'll find information about where to live and what to visit in town and around. Right now I live in Tbilisi so I inevitably compare the two places.

    Totally forgot to mention one important thing about Batumi. It's the capital of Adjaria which means you can eat the best Adjaruli Khachapuri there. I recommend this place "Laguna". They are absolutely insane in there - goo.gl/maps/68QgXFdvStA7Hjiz9

    Nice to hear. We going to visit Georgia for almost 3 weeks this summer in Juli. But still looking how i should plan everything.
    Tips what to visit in Georgia are always welcome.
    And you also always welcome in The Netherlands :P
    I live close to the town Hulst. A small historic city close to Middelburg, Goes, Vlissingen, Sluis, Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels, Breda, Bruges etc

A slept there in the Eye Hotel and its a great city! Smaller than Amsterdam but also historic and less tourists. So maybe its better haha

      It's hard to say because I lived in a hotel building and the Internet was good there. It could be worse in old buildings though.

    Thanks for the video Dmitrii. I just booked a flight to Tbilisi Fri, Feb 11th. I do want to try living in Batumi first. I'd be taking the 5 hour train to there after I leave the Tbilisi airport. You mentioned you like the old town area. In the European square, is there a lot of things close by here such as grocery stores, malls, hospital etc? Being close by to essentials is important for me. Thanks in advance, cheers!

    • @dpashutskii
      @dpashutskii  2 года назад +1

      Hey! Thanks for watching
      I'm actually just moved here again for a few months. Batumi has less grocery stores for sure than Tbilisi, but there are still plenty of them. It's a small town, so everything is close.
      I think Batumi has only two shopping malls. One is close to Europe square and another one is far.
      The biggest hospital located 20 minutes by walk from Europe square as well.
      To be honest you can walk through the whole city in one-two hours
