Nothing makes me happy like a day of bluegill fishing
You have a gem of a lake there. That looks crazy fun. Love the fact that you teach not to eat those monsters. Thanks for the videos.
Those were awesome bluegills and so plentiful! I can't believe they were that deep!! I like your scale setup it's perfect! I would love to get into a mess of those sometime!! Thanks for sharing buddy!
Man-In-Action gettin" er done! From one Scaper to another, thanks for a great outing. You create so much great content. I can't believe your channel hasn't completely blown-up. You're the best kept secret out there. The traditional commercialized fishing shows are pretender pushing product. Love the Gill shows...If you can get on some 3 foot pike that would make a great show too. I know it's not easy to do these days.
Your friend from the Northwoods of Wisco
Big Gills is a must. These guys are P4P the most hardest fighting fish; even though they’re considered bait fish.
The best gill fisherman out there. Keep ‘em up!
I take offense to that lol
Great video! Thanks for putting those big boys back!!!
Passing thru watching old vids. That "Cucamonga Cracka-Killa" comment at 12:38. 😂 I know what movie you been watching! Lol! Great video! Didn't know Minnesota produced quality bluegill like that.
Love it!!
Lake must have one heck of a food base to grow them like that. 7or8" is a really good fish around here. Good weed beds and clean water do you well.
That's some good fun right there!
Wow i wish i could feel the power of these monsters. Geat video
Sure enjoyed your videos. Brings back memories of fishing with my grand father in northern Michigan.
I would love to fish for bluegill that big! Thanks for sharing Scott.👍🏻😎
Frekkin samsquatches bud! I'm always in awe of your gill skills
Good GRIEF! What an awesome Vid. Congrats to you Sir! New Sub from Indiana.
That is some monster bluegills Scott! Great job brother 👍👍
Those are stumpknocker's! They can hit a tree and make it shake. Love it. Nice gills, I catch them in my pond. Copper nose bluegills, they have a abundance of golden shiners and I also feed them high protein fish pellets.
Definitely love the big bluegill videos bro 👍🏾
Amazed at the size of those gills!! They do exist!!!!
Those are some Mongo gills!!
Hi Young 'un, i just met you; you were slaying big gills, i looked at your channel and decided to subscribe. i'm too old to do much more than fish these days, and can't take the cold any more; so hunting an trapping are out. i like the trapping as well as the fishing, so i'll be watching all of your content; i'll be wishing you health and success, keep making good vids.
Awesome video man!
Man 4 of them like first one. !!!! Supper
Show us some bluegill cooking recipes because we love BLUEGILLS!
Well if that wasn't a heavenly video, I don't know what was. 🙆
biggest sunnies i have seen in a long time and great video
Awesome fishing
Thanks Scott!
Great video Scott, thanks for sharing 👍. Never tried droppshot rig. Do you remember which video recently you showed how to tie the knot?
Awesome video! Love watching all your videos when I got time to catch them great job. How do you tying the drop for brim fishing?
Nice job keep up with the good contact
Nice gills!
All I can say is WOW!
I enjoy your videos greatly
Whoa some giants!!
Great video
Damn those some beasts!
NICE !
Love watching your videos. Monster sunnies all day.
Awesome video!!!! Have you tried for some summer perch yet?
Are there any little ones at all,Scott? Lol! Have mercy haha show a small one once in a while 🤣
I love me some panfish for dinner.
Very nice.
I believe big bluegills are best eating fish on this planet fried to crispy outer layer over plate of brown rice Heaven on earth
Damn you can fish
What scale did you end up with? I still need a basket and good scale!
Wow, monster bull gills. Nice job. But the sound is kinda rough.
Wow! I'd like to know what characteristics a lake needs to grow gills this big?
Lots of base type foods
👍
Have you thought about replacing the drop shot sinker with a 1/8 oz jigging spoon?
I'd like to but you lose to many sinkers
You start to wonder how they can even swim when they get that big lol
If your willing to drive a few hours I know of a lake that consistently puts out 1.5-2lb gills.
Is there a pattern to where you are finding these fish, like structure and so on?
Yep, I explain the areas I'm fishing in the video
I'd Love to catch them, and let them all go, especially if I were to keep 20 gills @ 8"
Trapper have you got a 2lber yet?
What a toad in the thumbnail!
Is that a public body of water you’re on and if so, is there some sort of protective regulations on panfish? It just doesn’t seem like those big bluegills exist on most public waters in northern Wisconsin….at least not in the numbers you catch ‘em.
Yes it's a public body of water. We have many lakes with big ones it just takes some time to find the right lake.
@@330Maniac what lake is it? asking for my dad! he just catches and releases
Gosh I'm sorry but I don't give out lake names 😟
Can you let us know where this lake is. Thanks
Catch cook and clean you don't eat this those are some nice fish you throwing back
I catch and keep lots of fish, but being responsible and letting these big ones go is key to having big ones in the future. Keep smaller ones to eat.

So you don't hunt or haven't made any trips yet
I haven't made any this year. Is hoping to make some bow hunting videos though. Only good hunting video I have is a very large buck I shot a couple years ago
I wish I didn't have to sell my boat.
only 32 likes people come on... you can't watch this video and not give it a like... unless you jealous as hell...
What does your drop shot weigh?
I love to watch you. But I can't stand to see you put those big fish back 😒
It's very important to release them this size. The only reason I continue to catch them this big is because I release them
Kill them and eat them I agree just like stinky trout
why not catch the fish and give them to someone that wants them instead of throwing them back. Those are such nice fish that they deserve to be eaten.
Actually these are such big fish that they deserve to be released. Exactly opposite of what you think. You're supposed to eat smaller ones and throw the really big ones back. If you eat all the big ones then they are gone and the fish become stunted in the lake.
@@330Maniac I thought that if you throw the small one back then they will grow to be the larger ones.
👍
