- Moving right along as they have the shingles on, windows in and the HVAC system installed. We go around the house to determine where all the electrical will go. Nice to have the house weather tight now. If you have any suggestions, please put them in the comments.

💥 𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗪𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘
We are Dave and Karen and have retired. We decided to sell our home in Georgia in 2017 to live full time in an RV to travel across America to see the beauty of our country and meet awesome people along the way.

We call ourselves “part, full timers.” Still have our sticks and bricks, but we come and go as we please. No set schedules, ever!😊
Can’t wait to see the finished product!
Now that is how it should be. I like that part, full timers.
Moving along nicely. I’m impressed with contractors showing up. 👍🏻
Same here. The Gen Contractor is there about every day.
Wow……. They are moving along quickly. Looks great so far.
Thanks so much for watching.
Hi guys, is so great that Dave knows how to check everything
It is. He's an engineer-should-have- been. :)
Wow! Moving right along! Hang in there it will be worth it waiting for.
We sure hope so.
I'm taking dibs on the guest room - all those windows look amazing!
You'll have to come here and lick it....then it's yours. LOL
Hey There!!!! Great to see all the progress. I know that the selection of flooring, paint colors, fabric selection, furniture, etc. , can be daunting.
This place is going to be gorgeous. So Happy for you two. Can't wait to see the two of you soon. Don't stress too much. P & J
Yep, keep changing my mind on stuff. Lol
Excellent job Dave in all the checking! Love the black windows, door!
Thanks so much. Wish we were closer so we could visit every day.
Very nice and fast progress....coming along nicely, looking real good.
Thanks so much
Guys the new home is looking wonderful so far
Thanks so much Loretta
Can't wait to see Dave mowing the yard and how beers that's gonna take !😂
Dave says he ain't mowing any yard....o natural. We'll see.
@@WattsOnWheels lol famous last words !😂
It's going to be amazing. It would be a no for camping if I had that place! I've seen enough of this crazy country. Nice safe retreat.
We're getting the itch to get back on the road, but we have too much going on with the build and Dave is going to be making stuff for it too.
Looks great!
If it is not too late add an additional, small return air grille and duct in ceiling of primary bedroom near the door to provide optimal air flow for better performance of the A/C unit
Funny you should mention that. We were talking about that and come to find out that is exactly what they did. Yeh!
Looking awesome! Love the look and super excited to see the progress continue! Like you, having been through the build process before, you incorporate the things you wish you had in previous homes... walking through you really get that sense of where things are or should be. Just assures your end product is what you imagined it to be. Smart to continally be involved. Love that you are taking us all along on your building journey! You can tell your pros!
Yep, it's not our first rodeo, so we are trying to make sure we put in those little things that count like a light sensor in the pantry so you don't have to look for the light with full arms and timers for the fans in the bathroom.
I love those windows!
Oh thank you!
The house looks great!
Thanks so much.
I'm so excited to see what you're doing. Looking good.
Thanks so much. We are excited too.
Looking great… 👍🏻
Thank you! Cheers!
Looking good 👍
Thanks so much.
Looks great guys
Thanks so much Ronnie
I don’t need a kegerator, but a mini fridge would be nice
Gotcha covered. :)
👍👍👍👍👍Look Great!
Thanks 👍
It's coming on nicely, it's nice to see the different stages and how it's done in America, even down to the plumbing etc ...very different but interesting for sure, I have to mention the view on the way to yours 🤩 as you both know I love the great views and that one was awesome....what a place to live. Nice to see the bikes out getting their legs stretched also 👌
It's almost going too fast. We have a lot of decisions to make and I'm stuck on the flooring choices right now. Have one more sample coming and then we'll have to make a decision. Have chosen the exterior colors, wall paint color and cabinet colors. Lots of work.
Looks nice guys. I am not a fan of Ply Gem windows though. Exterior is a Finishield black. Sprayed on. Hoping for the best for you.
Hope they last. If they don't we know where our builder lives. :)
@@WattsOnWheels 300 grit sand paper and paint if necessary. Hopefully the windows are the Select version, Not the classic. Either way i would open and close each window and see how they operate before you put the siding on and trim. Good Luck!
I wished I had gone with Mini Splits. I built my house in 2006 and have replaced all of the HVAC to include the duct work and AC Unit. Tired of heating a house when we only use 4 rooms out of 8. Just a waste of electric...
Mini splits have come a long way. Glad that is working out for you....good choice.
When do you hope to be in the house by? It seems to moving along at great pace. - Michelle
We are hoping for October sometime.
@@WattsOnWheels Ohhh! It will be so lovely that time of year!
Looking pretty good. When do they start on the rv garage?
Just got the call. August 5. YEH!!
I haven't heard anything about the MAN CAVE yet.
Just got a call and will be installed the week of Aug 5
Looking good. Are you moved in yet?
Hopefully move in sometime in October.
Did he address the missing stud?
We have a meeting tomorrow to see if all the things we requested have been addressed.
so what no more full time R V ???
Nope, gonna start to cut back but will still take long trips. Gonna have to change my intro.
I'm impressed by how much you've improved. That's awesome! I think you'll love our Muscle & Joint Pain Relief Cream products and would be a great fit for a partnership. Let's discuss further and send you some products to try out.
Appreciate the offer, but declining your offer.
Which room belongs to Dude?
All of them.
