Renting A Car in Jamaica Do's and Dont's

Country White Jamaican, Melanie recently returned to Jamaica for a 2 week trip. Having rented a car at Europcar through Expedia, Melanie had some experiences that she shares here that could save you some money and some headache when you land in Jamaica and pick up your rental car.

When you hire a car, you need a checklist. Anything wrong with it on return will be billed to YOU. Check the lights, mirrors, doors, windows, electrics. Lift the bonnet. Check the boot. Start the engine. Run the wipers, horn…everyt’ing. Do it in front of the renter.

Most rental services at MBJ does not accepts Expedia. Always have to request refund when we get back to USA. Enjoy been home in JA.
