I’m Abi Ayres, and I started my trip to NYC as a total non-runner. Two weeks later, I’m at the NYC Marathon. Well - as a spectator, obviously. What am I, a superhero?! But that doesn’t mean I’m never going to run a marathon myself. In fact, by getting to know all sorts of NYC runners, I started to understand why they love such a painful, exhausting, chafe-happy sport.
