Massive fan of this. I decided to join another unit but that there was a proper decent display of controlled aggression, fitness and raw power. A lot of respect for the Rifles, yet to come across one who wasnt up to the mark. And good effort and best luck on your PNCO

This is a better ad than the current recruitment videos on the telly.
Cella et Audax, I did my JNCO Carde 1985, The Regiment gave me life skills that set me up for life. Good luck lads!!

Same here.
Fastest marching unit in the British army. Didn't the Royal Green Jackets get amalgamated out of existence?
This hits different after watching the hand to hand video from Ukraine
They should be paid more man.
£1500 a month is just absolutely too low
Take home £350 after stoppages a month when I was in
@Grumfuttocks it's not great, but I had friends working at heathrow earning 6,50/h. Rent in London was eating 2/3rd of that.
Takehome wasn't bad though, go live in a city and pay 1200quid rent not including food.
£1500 a month for no degree is ok in my eyes. My experience of soldiers is ill educated morons. Sorry if that offends anyone.

My brother was in 2LI based in Shrewsbury. It's all changed now. but still "Swift and Bold".
cede nullis i am Celer et Audax
Swift and Bold!!
loved the long pointy thing on my SLR
🇯🇵The JGSDF also has a gun-kendo course, but 🇬🇧👑the British Army's NCO training course seems just as tough. I wish them the best of luck.
Aggression is important
Well done lads
Excellent reviews thanks!
Thank you
God bless our boys. Best military minds in the world
When we were 1RIFLES 3Cdo Brigade,we were good but I still miss being RGBW!!!!
I would imagine their is a lot of emphasise on not spearing your foot in the moment
So far MOD did not plan to issue bayonets for new rifle need to change course to spade lane.
If you’re talking about the ks1 that’s only for rangers and rm so no need to worry
Sir yes sir
The MoD should really buy new CZ Bren 3 rifles for the army.
Or mass produce the KS-1, alot easier to strip, clean and operate in the field
@Stitch_666 That is another good option
Yes.

The rifles have been around a LOT longer than the Paras and the Rangers, if anything they have taken influence from the Rifles!

Since when was it called a "carder"...?
We always pronounced it 'car-dray'.
You always pronounced it wrong then
One's the well spoken pronunciation the other is the more common pronunciation.
No we didn’t !

if you need to use a bayonet, you're probably not long for this world
Not necessarily
What's a bayonet?
Another one who doesn't understand how the section attack works.
Wouldn't need the bayonet if you had a magazine in

They need longer swords... Or bayonets...
What's the point, Labour would just surrender.
And pray which political party would prosper the military, that grifter?

No they wouldn't surrender they would probably use them against the native brits.
The Rifles motto: "Swift and Gay"
We need the whole military to transfer to the KS-1 Rifle Because the SA80 is just horrible
Not since H&K in Germany got hold of them...
perfectly adequate rifle the L85A2/A3 on par with rifles such as the FAMAS

It’s a bayonet!!
What is?
Sword Lane? Sounds like it should be in London, not Cyprus.
The sword!? What a silly thing to call it 😂
The Rifle Regiments call them "Swords" due to tradition.
Bayonets were attached to muskets , short swords were attached to Rifles.
Shut it screamer, bet you were in depot for 2 mins before you left you Walt
Many British soldiers fight with swords just like the King and Prince Edward. Overrated.
They don't fight with swords. They're ceremonial.
And this is absolutely not overrated. This is some of the best training you can do.
