Personally helldivers 2 was the best game i played this year and i went in blind, one of my friends basically said "buy the game no questions asked and you'll thank me later" and i now have 800 hours in the game. Best 40 bucks spent this year.
@eleminatus i bought it on playstation, not pc. playstation didn't make the game they just own arrowhead and the whole "drama" was a dumb corporate decisions by sony. And it doesn't affect the game itself. If i buy anything jn the game i know that some of it is going to them but some of it is alsp going to the devs of helldivers. Just bc a company is bad doesn't mean the product is too. Also, wdym "you still stuck with the game" like ofc i did it's a great fcking game. Like are you gonna hate on someone for having fun? Some games can be super anticonsumer but still fun. I don't like sony either and what they did was a very bad decision but helldivers 2 is still incredible. Also they reverted the change (for the most part) Take the guy who made joker, he hates the fans of that movie and joker 2 is a terrible movie and he knew it was completely different, unnecessary and just not a good idea and still made it but it doesn't make joker 1 bad. Sry for the long comment and weird explanations
It's a shame you got turned away from Monster hunter. Probably my favorite game series of all time. Sucks that some people just cant let someone learn a new game.
It’s definitely something I’ve noticed while playing it on all platforms. Some people MUST control how people play the game and it’s disgusting I pray that he plays it again off stream to experience it. Hell I’d pay to play with him off stream 😭
I think Monster Hunter suffers from pretty bad elitism, as do most older franchises. There's only one way to play MHW imo, and it's whatever is fun for the player. As long as you're completing hunts and not triple carting, you're playing it right.
It makes me so happy to hear you loved Supervive. The devs are awesome and the game is genuinely so good and unique in a lot of ways, despite it borrowing concepts from different genres. I just think the beta had a bad release window having to be caught in between Deadlock and Marvel Rivals. That's a tough spot for an indie dev to put out their first ever game. And harder to sell to people not willing to try it out. The solo queue experience definitely is rough. It's way more fun and competitive with at least a duo
You say, "I've played a lot of games besides Overwatch this year," but as a RUclips viewer, the only things I see from your stuff are you watching sandwich videos, watching gaming videos, VOD reviews, playing Overwatch, and playing Rivals. Maybe you put out a lot more, but aside from sandwiches and reacts, the only things I see are those 2 games. Not hating, but it's pretty easy from a RUclips perspective to thing you only do OW and MR.
Because that’s all that’s on yt. He’s done some of these games on twitch. It’s also not uncommon for streamers to play video games off stream. Some of these games aren’t monetizable enough to be made into a stream or video.
Unfortunately the RUclips algorithm hates if you don't follow a very specific repetitive formula. If overwatch videos do well then any video you upload that's not an Overwatch video actively makes all the videos you have ever uploaded on the channel do worse. On twitch you can keep people because they're there for you. On RUclips it's all 100% algorithm.
Personally, my best games for 2024 are Marvel Rivals, Wukong and Wuthering Waves. All fun games and for the single player games, they have good combat and environments
My best game of the year is defo MHW. I can understand where flats is coming from, backseating is annoying asf, but having killed Fatalis literally minutes before the new year, DAMN IT WAS SO FUN.
So sad your Monster Hunter World experience got ruined to the ground by insensitive kids yelling in your chat. While you might never stream this wonderful game again, if you do like the mechanics of it it's definitely gonna be quite the experience if you ever pick it up again on your own downtime. And the Iceborne expansion just adds another base game as post game with extras for the base game.
coincidentally playing the new stuff in palworld as i watched this video and it's SUPER fun. lots of updates and new stuff, the not throwing out your pal is unfortunate but the game itself is so much smoother and easier to play and almost has an overwhelming about of depth to it with how many mechanics there are. only current issue i have is it freezing up with every auto save. it's only crashed 2 or 3 times in the 20ish hours i've put in in the past 2ish weeks and always unfreezes after however much time (and i haven't tested multiplayer either to see if that's better), and there's plenty of great rebalancing and bug fixes that have really upped the quality to the point that i'm hopeful that it'll get to a full release sometime in the near future. tl;dr: game is substantially better now and seems to be doing well
I saw someone ask in live chat but I also love the game so I want to repeat the question. Would you ever play Ark Survival Evolved or the remaster Ark Survival Ascended.
I'm so happy to see people talking about paper's please to this day. A great example of :A game can be good even without top tier graphics or top tier gameplay or triple A bullshit+60/70$ entry barrier. Don't get me wrong, stuff like elden ring or bg3 deserve that barrier of entry because those games are great but these "cheaper" games like papers please usually get overlooked.
Bg3 was an amazing game, one of the best games there are. However it's not perfect, act one and 2 feel really good and immersive, but act 3 needed more time. Larian have been working on making it better and their devotion shows even in past games.
For the best experience possible, play Monster Hunter World offstream. There so many tutorials on RUclips teaching all the weapons, and you can start with anyone you like most. Take your time on the hunts, get familiar with the controls, and above all, have fun, because Monster Hunter is all about having fun :) I started playing with Longsword, because i found it to be so much fun... and when i started the endgame from the base game i learned how to play Chage Blade, and then cleared all the Iceborne content with it. XD
Ngl when I first clicked on this vid I thought it was going to be another guid that was obsessed with the nivida control panel with no real evidence of why was best but you have made the first good graphics guid I have ever seen
If you want to give Monster Hunter another chance, try waiting until wilds come out, everything is gonna be new so its a good chance to tell people to can it. Or just play it offline and learn on your own then start streaming once you get the hang of it.
I'd definitely say give Monster Hunter another go, but off stream. The community is usually very helpful, kind and supportive in my experience, but it does seem to be a different story for those that are streaming. Playing off stream would almost undoubtedly just be a nicer experience overall.
The best games I played this year that didn't actually come out this year are Fallout 4 and Death Stranding. Death Stranding is such a unique, bizarre game. Is it perfect? No. But it's so different from anything I've ever played before and I fucking loved it. Fallout 4 totally didn't click with me when it first came out but I saw it on sale for like $8 with all the DLC and the DLC? Fucking amazing. As far as games that actually came out this year, it's gotta be Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Silent Hill 2 Remake, and Marvel Rivals. This whole year was very light on games until the final 3 months and then there was just banger after banger like Astro Bot, Call of Duty Black Ops 6 which was a huge revival of a series that I haven't cared about since 2012, Tekken 8 was super fun, and even weird little indie games like Mouthwashing which is one of the most fucked up horror games I've played in years. Overall, it was a really good year but I wouldn't say there's any 10/10 games that you absolutely have to play if you aren't interested in them. I would give Silent Hill 2 Remake and Indiana Jones a try though because both of those sort of got buried in the holiday outpouring of stuff just releasing.
Go back to Palworld, the ai for ur Pals feels better when you throw them out now to compensate for the change tbh. Im currently hooked back again, all the new content is really good.
I wished you could've had more fun with Monster Hunter World cause it's a really good game but it's hard to catch up to people on a 6 year old game at this point. Hopefully you try to play Monster Hunter Wilds when it releases in February since everyone will be having to adjust to the new systems and mechanics.
Holy shit I feel awful about all those backseaters when you were playing MHW. That shit sucks. Maybe wilds would be better for a stream experience because it’s new to everyone?
Ok 2 questions are you going to do another bg3 playthrough with a better ending? And can you try the first Kingdom come deliverance? KCD is a hidden gem that I believe is way better than Skyrim was or at least early build Skyrim
I really liked Concord and am sad it flopped. Also, sad you had a bad experience with MH World. It's such a great game, but I can understand the back seating would just be annoying af.
Personally helldivers 2 was the best game i played this year and i went in blind, one of my friends basically said "buy the game no questions asked and you'll thank me later" and i now have 800 hours in the game. Best 40 bucks spent this year.
i played it 10 hours and got bored BUT i am aware that was because my friends weren't interested in the game and i was playing alone
@taunopaavo321 yeah playing alone kinda sucks, you can but it's not the intended way to play
It's so funny that Sony tried to drill you people in the azz, yet you still stuck with the game. You people will never learn...
@eleminatus i bought it on playstation, not pc. playstation didn't make the game they just own arrowhead and the whole "drama" was a dumb corporate decisions by sony. “Are you leaving overwatch for rivals?”
Flats:”I started leaving before marvel came out. I thought I gave you guys enough signs.”
Did he say that?
@ he said the first sentence, I added the “enough signs” part.
@@Derglesnaf why add parts?
dude offed himself in BG3 and was shocked he couldn't speak to people in the end? LMFAO
It's a shame you got turned away from Monster hunter. Probably my favorite game series of all time. Sucks that some people just cant let someone learn a new game.
Hopefully he joins the wilds train when it comes out
It’s definitely something I’ve noticed while playing it on all platforms. Some people MUST control how people play the game and it’s disgusting I pray that he plays it again off stream to experience it. Hell I’d pay to play with him off stream 😭

22:22 Stardew Valley in the top 3?! That is one of my favorite games ever. It’s so cozy and relaxing (and I modded the heck out of it hehe)
He has a whole playlist on more flats of 3 hour+ vods

Im just happy palworld got mentioned, the new big update has been incredible

Baldurs at 4 is crazy, just because he chose to die and then was mad that he was dead...... crazy
For the best experience possible, play Monster Hunter World offstream. There so many tutorials on RUclips teaching all the weapons, and you can start with anyone you like most. Hell yeah Stardew top 3. Just last year I 100%'d it getting the last achievement I needed (joja route achievement). Fantastic game.
Holy smokes this channel exists?
Ngl when I first clicked on this vid I thought it was going to be another guid that was obsessed with the nivida control panel with no real evidence of why was best but you have made the first good graphics guid I have ever seen
Oh I am EXCITED for this video

My game of the year is shady knight. Nothing else this year was close to being that fun. The game forces you to do cool stuff instead of being optimal
ZZZ was definitely my favorite this year. Cinema
Papers please is like one of my favorite games of all time I loved playing it so much. I wanna go back to that game because it's so fun
Since you liked Papers, Please you should play Contraband Police. It's Paper's, Please but first person shooter
I didnt know you played stardew valley! thats one of my favorite games. I hope there are vods on youtube
Somewhere along the way Overwatch devs started to confuse new skins as game content.
I'd definitely say give Monster Hunter another go, but off stream. The community is usually very helpful, kind and supportive in my experience, but it does seem to be a different story for those that are streaming.

Mt favorite game of the year is Silent Hill 2, so true to the original
Go back to Palworld, the ai for ur Pals feels better when you throw them out now to compensate for the change tbh. Im currently hooked back again, all the new content is really good.
11:40 you mean taking away resources from making Kiriko skins
lol I literally skipped to where he said to go back and watch it ass hole. I'm dying.
I wished you could've had more fun with Monster Hunter World cause it's a really good game but it's hard to catch up to people on a 6 year old game at this point. Flats I watched most of it then skipped two minutes directly onto you telling me to full watch the video and got jump scared
Flats experienced what it’s like having a wife in stardew valley 😭🤣
You have to play hollow knight. Its my favorite game of all time.
5 minutes ago is pretty cool
No Horizon Zero Dawn Sadge 😔😔
Holy shit I feel awful about all those backseaters when you were playing MHW. That shit sucks.
Maybe wilds would be better for a stream experience because it’s new to everyone?
That is such a based list
So sad that the mhw community turned you off to the game😢 you are my favorite streamer and mhw is one of my favorite games
Persona 3 Reload for me
Baldurs gate has to be top 3
Same for Elden ring.
Flats Dark Urge
20:50 did flats get inspired by lelouch from code geass?
Ok 2 questions are you going to do another bg3 playthrough with a better ending? And can you try the first Kingdom come deliverance? KCD is a hidden gem that I believe is way better than Skyrim was or at least early build Skyrim
I really liked Concord and am sad it flopped. Also, sad you had a bad experience with MH World. It's such a great game, but I can understand the back seating would just be annoying af.
Dude rivals is soooooo bad
you mean *not for you. because the game has like 430,000 players online as we speak
