Like many I would love an X2D but the X2D made it possible for me to get a X1D II and I have no regrets about that decision. I got the image quality and benefits of the Hasselblad system at an affordable price for me. The P series of lenses sacrifice nothing image wise and meets my requirements. Hard to beat that quality in my hands. ❤❤
watching your videos always puts me in such a good mood! they are so comfy and relaxing and all your photos are so incredible, it's always a wonderful experience! i have learned so many things that i keep in mind every time i go out to take photos, i cannot thank you enough for that and thank you for always being a big inspiration ^^
Dang. Mentally struggling at work and just had the feeling I should take a youtube break, only to find this video posted 1 minute ago. Adrien + Japan + medium format?! This is gonna be good!
@@adriensanguinetti Loved it! Always nice to see your work. It's interesting to see your style still comes through in these photos. You can instantly tell they're from you, but they just seem to have a little more "punch" than usual. I wish more manufacturers would allow the X-Pan crop (though I guess they'd have to call it something different). They often state that the reason they don't is that results would be sub-par and it only really works on super-high resolutions found in medium format, but I've used that crop on my 26mp files and they look fantastic shown on a 75" 4k TV. That's a large image, and I can't imagine many people print that big, so I don't see what the problem is... I guess for now I'll continue using tape on the LCD screen! As always, some great shots here. One of my favourites was actually only shown for a couple of seconds - the reflection of the sunset in the car/truck panel. Very cool, and a very clean car!
Ah, the xpans are so beautiful and unexpected. I knew nothing about this format before the video. Thanks for showing your process with film to photo, too. It’s very effective. Helps me understand what Hasselblad is all about and makes me think differently about cropping.
Great work as usual! Love that the photo's have the same style as your usual photo's but with a different atmosphere. Now Fujifilm needs to sponsor you a GFX 100 ii for you to play around with.
The cost of those Hassleblad cameras is a little eye watering but could be a good camera to rent. I’m happy with my A7RV but every once in a while I am tempted to pick up a medium format film camera, such as the Fujica GS645, for the experience.
I don't have the latest computer so indeed it was quite a heavy workload but I turned on the option to edit based on Smart Previews which made the process a lot smoother
The colors in these photos are out of this world
Thanks :) Part is due to the Hasselblad and part due to my presets ;)

Thank you for loving my mother country, Japan.
I'm Japanese who lives in oversea and your videos make me miss Japan a lot.
Since I started with street photography your channel has quickly become one of my favorites. Keep it up!
Awesome! Thank you!
Hasselblad collab? Instant watch.
Congrats on getting these types of opportunities. Hopefully more to come.

It feels as if your photographic style was made for medium format. Your photos are amazing !
Thanks!!
Opening scene is just breathtaking. Medium format has a beautiful look but of course credit goes to the photographer. Thoroughly enjoyed it 👍🏻
Glad you enjoyed it! I did not use too much of the special bokeh capabilities of medium format but still the images have a special feel to them
Your work is absolutely beautiful! I just got my first camera and I’m looking forward to say that I got into photography thanks to you :)
Thanks! Glad my videos can inspire you to get into photography! 😊
congrats on all the success with your channel Adrien!
Thanks Mitch! Hope we can meet someday in Japan or anywhere else in the world :)

Breathtaking images! I continue to be impressed by what this camera can deliver in the hands of a skilled photographer. Well done!!
Thanks for your comment! :)

Hahaha thanks for your comment and I am glad that you like the photos and that they are in line with my typical work :)
Hi Adrien! I'd love to see some of those shots for the next Zine. Day one for me!
Thanks for the interest! Keep your eyes peeled.
Used X1Dii is a good compromise. B&H once sold it brand new with 45P lens for around $4400.
Seems like a fair deal!
Love the video as always! I eas wondering what mic you're using at the end of the video? it sounds great!

Hey Adrien, do you have any nice places to visit in Kyoto? LOVED THE VID AND LOVE YOU TOO!
So you decided to fry your computer with 100mp files. Nice . Well done on the camera.

Whereabouts is this?
i dont know, but the only thing if you have 100 mp camera is to be able to crop in 😅 and you must have lot of money to use that feature 😅
love your channel and your photography, not a big fan of gear videos though, gets tiring to see on every channel
I hope you can also support Korean subtitles!😢
Un vrai dilemme
