The gigabreak animation made me shed tears of joy. The animations were already top tier but it's just the little extra details and fluidity that really makes these shine.

This and the sonic rpg series are some masterpieces.Played them so much when i was younger,even now i play them sometimes.
This new remade version is amazing, everything is much more improved and it makes it look much better to watch

My only issue is that the Gigabreak felt smooth, but not as hard hitting. The SFX was a little quiet and the little "X" that marks where Sonic hits or the line for where he cuts typically would reach the top and bottom of the screen on the original to signify the impact, here it was just a small and thin little one
Felt the same way, but i also would not be able to do something similar so the creator here did an amazing job :)
honestly I believe it's better this way,
mainly because the animator didnt want it to feel too over the top with something like gigabreak
his style of animating is more clean and fluent unlike some of the other animators you'd see doing these kinds of things (no hate ofc, they're just doing what the enjoy)
though I do agree with how quiet some of the impact sounds were during gigabreak
It feels wrong to not hear the voices, but this is still awesome because I loved this flash game as a kid

Look at the style and finesse Sonic has when he finishes his attack. Especially considering the G force he has to stop at. A true speedster.

I remember watching these kind of sprites animation like 4 or 5 years ago, I'm finally rewatching one.
I might have mentioned but every time I watch your stuff I am so thoroughly impressed by how smooth your animations are, everything has a weight to it that makes it feel so real, it's unlike basically every sprite animations I've seen.
Gigabreak has some weird sound design for most of the punches and kicks, I think it fails to convey how meaty the hits are supposed to be...
The rest? Oh my god, the rest is AMAZING, simply GORGEOUS animation!! This game's been part of my childhood and it's hetched in my memory, thank you 💚

Dude! I found your channel just a short while ago and I'm so glad I did! Your animation for these loveable classics is so fluid and expressive that it legit took me a whole while to fully process and appreciate how much love you poured into these (my personal favorite part is at the ending of Gigabreak where he throws the sword before the final blast)! It goes without saying that you got a sub from me. I can't wait to see what else you end up making in the future!
And if I could ask, you should also totally do the intro animation for FFSX6. I'm confident that you'll do it justice as beautifully as this.
0:44 was my fav to use cuz 1 it was attack I could spam without getting hit back. And 2, i use to copy the lines of sonic as he attacked with it and pretended the left and right arrow keys did something along with the move for dramatic effect. "COME ON STEP IT UP!"

I used to play this game a lot as a kid.
this remake is awesome
oh my god i love this so much!! if this is animated in adobe (and i think it is), a tip for tuning or shifting an effect's colors can be done with the "advanced" selection instead of "tint". that way instead of forcing the black border around effects to turn green alongside them, you can just *add* and *remove* the color with the usage of the advanced color tuning options. play around with it a little bit and see if it works for you.

This animation is SOOOO amazing. Except it should have had hit-stuns where every powerful hit pauses the animation for a split-second to show the impact of the punch. Other than that, this is one of the best Sonic sprite animations i've seen

Every day I used to go out and watch him suffer and got on by his misery and despair, him knowing he can't do shit because I got him stuck and suffer for eternity like a lifeless mannequin. 1:06 1:29 1:45 2:40 That marvel super heroes vs street fighter background do be hitting different with that smooth animation
Even if some moves felt a bit slower (like the spin dash attacks for example making Aeon weak or making you having more Attack, the time it took to show these effects are too long, but very flamboyant which is always cool), the fluidity, speed and transitions between attacks felt too natural to be a simple flash game. Simple in technical terms. Which shows how much work you put into these remade animations.
And I can't get over the fact that sounds of Smash Bros are present😅, but I think these sfx make the attacks feel so much stronger.

I made up a couple names for Aeon’s attacks. 1 is Breaker Combo, 2 is Rogues combo, 3 is Gamma Buster Ultra, and 4 is Gamma Impact Wave
