Honestly, I've gone speechless about the overhaul with dialogues and the sprite animations in terms of character expressions. This truly made me feel like a remake is definitely needed, just at least to live the nostalgia of flash games again ❤ ❤ Truly a love letter to the era of Adobe Flash and games that were made out of it
Now this takes me back. Sonic RPG was one of my favorite Sonic Flash series from back in the day. While it started off rough, it definitely ended on a high note and I have a lot of respect to MidNightMaren for creating that series and one of my favorite Sonic fan villains, Seelkadoom. This is a really solid remake of the 1st episode. Great work to everyone who worked on it.

8:48 I was gonna comment Shadow shouldn't be able to use Chaos Control after losing the emerald, but on rewatch, I'm assuming it was cause Shadow briefly absorbed some chaos energy from the Master Emerald before Knuckles interrupted. If that's the case, I love the way Nashura subtly hinted it with the number gauge appearing on the emerald UI.

Glorious animation. Really cool ideas and Shadix was a superb reference. My only nitpick is that Shadow shouldn't be able to Chaos Control after Chaos. He lost the Emerald, so he's stuck with Energy Beam.
It just seemed to me that the "Laser" itself was not particularly suitable for Shadow. And even more so, as it was shown in the cutscene, he restored a little chaos energy to himself in order to teleport later. (And unfortunately, how else would they be able to move into the egg of death, without the Master Emerald itself).
