Limited to 55 units for the U.S. market, the 2023 AMG CLA 45 “Edition 55” features the Handcrafted AMG 2.0L Inline-4 with Twinscroll Turbo that ouputs 382 hp @ 6,500 rpm 354 lb-ft @ 4,750 - 5,000 rpm and it includes the AMG Aerodynamics package. This comprises of a front apron with a larger front splitter and additional flics, an AMG rear wing, deflector elements at the simulated side air outlets of the rear apron, and the diffuser blade, all painted in high-gloss black. Developed in the wind tunnel, these components serve to improve driving characteristics at high speeds.
The AMG Night package and the AMG Night package II also enhance the dynamic appearance of the AMG CLA 45 "Edition 55.” The front splitter and trim elements on the louvers in the outer air intakes, plus the inserts in the AMG side sill panels, beltline trim strip, window line trim strip and exterior mirror housings are finished in high-gloss black. In addition, the 4-Door Coupe features tailpipe trims finished in black chrome and heat-insulating dark tinted glass. The louvres in the AMG-specific front grille finished in black chrome and model badges on the trunk lid and wings finished in high-gloss black complete the exclusive appearance.
Other distinguishing features of the "Edition 55" model include the paint finish in Cosmos Black Metallic. The color scheme of the AMG emblems on each side of the vehicle run from grey to transparent to match. 19-inch AMG cross-spoke forged wheels painted in matte grey with a high-sheen rim flange and center cap with "Edition 55" elements round off the powerful overall look. The AMG fuel filler cap in silver chrome with AMG lettering also demonstrate the exquisite attention to detail.

I realized right after filming and I should have shown it. There's a GLE 53 Edition 55 video up on the channel that shows this "AMG" gas cap. I'm also waiting for the new GLE 53 facelift. I've seen a video of it, and it looks spectacular especially in the front design with more aggressive air intakes.

The overall CLA as a whole is much better to love with and much more practical in the winters and tech features compared to a C8

The cla45 is more compact but very slick looking the price is not bad at all for a fully loaded option. Not better than the S class though. More of a junior car. 🤷🏾♀️

@@BenjaminMutuku I watched your video, but you never mentioned any performance upgrades so I thought I'd ask just in case. Guess I won't be upgrading yet, as my cla 35 amg has the aero package, communications package and amg performance seats upgrade, which the 55 edition kind of has I guess lol

@@KareemKayy funny you say that because even the new C63 is gonna have the same engine as the CLA45 with an electric motor 😂😂 the new E63 is also gonna have a 4 cylinder and a V6 😭 so this is the new route AMG is taking. Also when the engine is signed by AMG, it is considered a AMG engine. Not your typical 4 banger

Not really, it looks dam average and interior plastic is a joke. Modern Mercs have one of the worst reliability issues
@@rg6982 I had one 2022 model and i agree with you about quality of interior. But driving pleasure of this car is really something else. Electronics are so well balanced and it forgives every kind of mistake even when you are close to the limit. The only car with better driving pleasure i drove is my old Evo7 stage 2. CLA is one of the most hooligan cars of new era. I am definitely missing it.
