Had a PYL Uninc last year but unfortunately broke it on a rock. Loved its nimbleness and how it floated on powder, but carving could be better. I hate the graphics on the new PYL, so i'm looking at Flagship or Deepfake. What would you recommend?
@@AngrySnowboarder I wouldn't mind it being a bit stiffer than the PYL, as long as i don't have to sacrifice nimbleness and i don't have to bring my a game all the time. Powder Float is also very important to me, i often ride steep technical powder between rocks in the austrian alps
Both are going to float the same, but the Flagship is going to be a bit more nimble. They also added that Korroyd into the Flagship that helps dampen the nose chatter.
I’m on a Gnu 4x4 which I F’n love, but it’s kinda beat to hell. Has the tech advanced enough to consider upgrading? That Nitro sounds like a similar deck.
They made their choices, they get to deal with them. I’m not going to have some third party company working for them dictate what we can and can’t post as well as telling us that we can only get the crappiest stuff if we say it’s the best. They’re now a marketing company with snowboards as an after thought.

Depends on how much response you want underfoot. Little more surfy, regular Katana, more power Katana Pro, or just say fuck it and go for the stiffy setup and get the Cleaver.

Doubtful, I've heard Avran say they don't do boots because everybody's feet are different. What works for him or TC might be awful for you, that kind of thing. You never know, though
You'll love it. The Kazu is still a great board. My 2024 model has gone on to become my daily driver. Floats well, turns great, it's surprisingly springy on the tail, and it wants to go fast all the time. Only downside I've found is that the edge hold isn't great on icy slopes.

Maybe like an 8/10 ? I was looking at TC's favorite mercury bindings, now drive pro, and union atlas. Basically, noticeably stiffer than my transfers but not the absolute stiffest
If you want stiffer than the Transfer I'd definitely look at the Mercury or the Drive, Pro might be overkill. Atlas is a good option. Also going to toss out the Bataleon Astro Full Wrap, not the Asym, make sure it's the full one.

Deep Fake will be more damp and cut through that heavy wet snow better. PYL UnInc is going to be more nimble in those trees.

They're all about the same honestly. I'd say the Moderator has just a hair more grip in a deep hard carve though.

How stiff do you want to go? Flagship is more of a lateral move, Deep Fake will be a stiffness jump for sure.
