wow, but that ruler is slick. I am struggling with trying to put a conventional one together and this would have made things so much easier. I am putting this on my wish list along with the wonderful scrap filled pattern!
This is a great video! Love your technique for piecing curved seams, then trimming to size. I especially love not having to use a dozen pins to hold the fabrics together! Thank you for posting this!
Thank you for this great tutorial! I love that you are sewing on a Featherweight. I never thought I would want to try something with curved seams, but you made me believe I can do it. I do all of my sewing and quilting on my 1938 Featherweight, and love it!
IF you had saved the discarded Melon shaped piece from cutting the "B" pieces and sewed it to contrasting Kept B pieces would that make a skinny Orange Peel or Melon Block??
The quilt is very colorful and the reason why I watched this video. Even the sample bright green and white had some punch. However when it came to the actual demo, white, pale green and a light grey cutting mat. Seriously, who could tell what and where the measurements and the cuts were being made? Visually a very poor video when it comes to contrast.
Not as accurate as it should be ; none of my four blocks are the same ; even on your block on your video we can see that a point has no more seam allowance at all ; disappointed...
Thanks for the heads up... I am thinking about making it or not. The patterns are beautiful but it seemed to me I have to own several different size of rulers to make them. Don't want to buy rulers to use it just once or twice and then leave it at a corner.
Great tutorial, thank you. I just bought the pattern and could not have started it without the tutorial.

Love this and the instructions! These videos are a great way to marry the excellent instructions in the patterns.
Crazy4 Doxies Keep making the pies until wide and long enough, simple. I made a king sized one without trouble!

Good directions. Hard for me to tell difference between you light and dark though.

Will this patterns be rewritten for the wonder curve ruler. I like the new ruler.
I have purchased this pattern, but want to make it in miniature using the mini curve ruler. ANy hints on how I can modify the pattern for thisl

hmmmmmm..... not sure. I'll play with that and see!
This has been so very, very helpful; I'm making this quilt now! Have you ever made anything with the leftover oval pieces from the side strips?
Is Chic Country in any of the SKW books? or is the pattern just sold by itself? I love your fabric selection.
I wish they could answer your questions. I spend a lot of money on the books, rulers, fabric. It would be nice to get a yes or no answer.
I love it
Don’t be afraid to mark your fabric, I can’t sir what u did

Good instructions, but really poor color choice for video. And seriously, you really cut wrinkled fabric.
