  • Mod Citrus is our version of the traditional 'orange peel' quilt. It has pieced curves and works up quickly using the Quick Curve Ruler to cut the curved pieces.

This might be the best technique I’ve ever seen for sewing curved seams! Excellent tutorial.

Glad to see the Featherweight still going strong, most women end up buying those new machines and I thought I was the only one that keep at and love my Featherweight. Smiles to you.

I have 13 mellons to discard! Finally understand the process! I do pin my curves as it gives me a more accurate placement. I think the machine you are using is a more4 different feeding than the newer machines.

Have you created a pattern that uses a finished 6 inch square of the drunkards path block? I would like to use your ruler to make a pattern I have that requires a 6 inch block. Love your rulers. Love your videos. Thank you so much for sharing with me. Your rulers have enhanced my sewing experience.

I have made this with your ruler. Very easy!

It took me forever to figure what you meant to mark 3/8 ". If you had said 3/8" from the edge of the mellon I would have gotten it much faster.

I have cut my bg squares 91/2 x 91/2, then I cut 1" off from each point. But for the life of me I can't get the QC ruler to line up on the cut ends. any suggestions for me???

I found a real shorcut.....After cutting the 91/2 square, fold to make one double triangle. Then when you cut your triangles you are doing two at a time saving much time. Also as I make double wedding rings for my grandchildren, I have the mellon piece ready to trim to size.

Can you please share detailed instructions for this block for the Posh Petals pattern? Mine are not coming out accurate. The pattern doesn't give the measurement of where to cut the curve cut out. Thanks so much!
