The one thing I would say is that you don't actually want Jokic aggressively looking to score, because if that is happening it's because everything else is not working out. His game is about setting his team up for success, that is why he said he is not making a decision to score or pass, the decision is what is the best play he can execute at the moment. As a long time Spurs fan, watching this Nuggets team is amazing and they play beautiful basketball.

This Denver team reminds me of the Spurs old dynasty. They are well coached and having a unselfish superstar is key to success and good for player morale. Denver defense isn't like old Spurs and neither is their offense the same. But the intangibles definitely same like the lockeroom transformed into a Championship atmosphere. Also, Murry is amazing. He really is the best shooter shooting a contested shot. Bruce Brown was a great pickup. Aaron Gordan is versatile and energetic defender. MPJ has matured and game is still developing and as long as he stays healthy and works hard, he has potential to be Allstars. Can't believe Cavs let KLOVE GO to a playoff team. Kevin Love would have been great as a backup to Joker. He definitely has the full court pass down like Joker.

One could argue that when they are too comfortable they relax, but that confirms they are not robots. Nevertheless, they are well oiled machine.

Jokic could be at the forefront of the big man resurgence in the NBA. Not because he's so great of a player, but because similar to Shaq you have to construct your roster in a manner that's capable of competing with him. Centers like Bam and RWIII/Horford aren't big enough to guard him effectively, you can't double him because that's a lose/lose situation. The last time Jokic was truly defeated was against a roster with Dwight Howard, JaVale McGee, and Anthony Davis (honorable mention, Marc Gasol). You'll need bodies for fouls and a bruiser big enough to make him work for his points/assists, he does everything so easily he doesn't get tired often, gotta wear him down because he's not gonna make bad decisions on his own.

Still in Disbelief! I've lived in Denver all my life to this point and have always been a huge fan. Like many Boston Red Soxs fans In the late 90's to early 2000's I NEVER thought I would live to see the Nuggets in the Finals like the Red Soxs coming back from the Yankees! The Lakers were always the team that stopped the Nuggets from advancing to the finals for YEARS (MAD RESPECT TO KOBE) but when we got A.I. (the Answer) with Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin, Marcus Camby leading the league in block shots at the time and the great coach in George Karl I thought that would be the team to take it all. Mark Cuban calling us the "Thuggest" due to the aggressive gameplay they really did look unstoppable. No disrespect to Anthony but he was never known for his defense and he loved to stop the run and gun pace and man up more than he should have.
Seeing Jokic and Murray is something that many Nuggets fans never thought they would see, regardless if they say they did but based on the Nuggets teams from the past no one saw this coming. We were seeing a build up to this, but had been let down before, so this is something new to us Denver Fans this Post Season and it's AWESOME! This team is deep and it's size is going to be hard to handle. It's only one win at the time of writing this, but It's going to be a uphill climb to Mount "Everest" for Miami to pull this one off. It's actually the same thing that made so many analysts sleep on Steph Curry for so long. They have been propping up this narrative about "stars" and what a star is for so long, they are well and truly surprised that teams win basketballs games. And therefore you can be "great" by by being a TEAM PLAYER. The problem with Jokic isn't that he's not an all-time talent. The numbers speak for themselves. I think its the mindset of trying to be "the man", the alpha on the team, that doesn't necessarily work for some teams, that just forces these players into a box. Jokic being selfless, humble to a fault, that just does everything the team needs, is what made everyone around him to do the same. To contribute in ways that doesn't show on the regular stats.

For the Heat they have really no good options because no matter what they do the Nuggets offense can mess them up in several other ways that are equally bad.
Focus on defending against Jokic at the half court, but then you leave Murray to run wild all over you.
Stop the Jokic/Murray pick and roll, but then Aaron Gordon takes advantage of all the miss-matches to score and compensate for any drop off in the offense from Jokic and Murray.
Focus on defending Jokic/Murry but then even it Aaron Gordon is playing so so, Michael Porter Jr. and KCP will make drives, cuts and all kinds of shots.
It just seems like the Nuggets offense is forcing the Miami defense to collapse but in a way that creates all the space they need to cut, drive and shoot.
