Wow, it’s so interesting to see the aquariums under a microscope & all of the tiny organisms consuming the diatoms! 😱 I’ve definitely spotted very tiny worms on my aquarium glass. The tank has been running for a while so I’m curious to know what else is in there

I’m a school custodian so I took a water sample to work & looked under a micro scope & I am amazed , if I had not watched your video I wouldn’t of known what I was looking at.I have a healthy tank water. Thanks! I was just taking some macro video using my iPhone and had some bacteria show up. Kind of blew my mind my phone picked that up. This helped me figure out what they were - specifically if they were harmful or beneficial bacteria! (Beneficial)

They are everywhere, on the floor, dust, the air, water, literally everywhere. On the aquarium certain conditions allow for the growth and reproduction of some of those organisms adapted to live underwater. Some microorganisms live in your pillow and eat dead skin cells. They are EVERYWHERE.

Very interesting, nature is a wonderful thing..But how do we get rid of the brown diatoms ? They have been spoiling my tank for months , I’ve had weekly one third water changes , I certainly don’t over feed , I’ve tried more light then less light more duration less duration , changed the gravel substrate nothing works ..Yet my other tank has never had it , both set up within a week of each other , some say it will go away but it’s been five months now ...What a beautiful microscope that is , yes very interesting, thank you .

I know about the NH3 and nitrite fixing bacteria, but I was informed that there is a nitrate fixer as well.
