Pardon my French here but B**CH PLEASE, YOU NEVER EXPERIENCED THE UL TIMARE KIDS FOOD PLAY AREA UNTIL YOU TRIED THE BRITISH BRAND LOCATION, BREWSTER BEAR'S (known as Brewer's Fayer to the adults).
SLIDES, TUNNELS, BALL PITS, PADDED BUMPING POLES AND OBSTACLE COURSE, KID FRIENDLY PUNCH BAGS, SAFETY NETTING, EVEN A SPOOKY TUNNEL (for the brave kids). AND THAT WAS JUST ONE PART! THEY HAD AN ARCADE AREA WITH BASKET BALL HOOPS, A CLAW MACHINE (only game that cost money) THEY EVEN SET UP A PLAYSTATION 1 AND TV SO KIDS COULD PLAY THE HERCULES GAME! THIS PLACE WAS THE S**T FOR KIDS AND STILL IS! And of course they had a mascot. One who WASN'T a creepy man in a weird costume. It was a lovable bear called Brewster. I STILL love that damn bear to this day AND I'M 23! Sc**w Ronald, sc**w the colonel and sc**w the king. I LOVE BREWSTER! NO COMPETITION!

@@alora212 They won't attack full grown humans alone, that would be a death sentence for them usually, but it is worth noting they will prey on house pets, so keep an eye on small cats and dogs if there is a coyote around

The good old days! I miss being a small child on those playgrounds! Nothing like having an existential crisis in the eerie nostalgic maze of tubes while hearing the faint noises of kids yelling and parents telling their kids to calm down!
I used to LOVE the playground at Chuck E. Cheese, there was a weird half-car hanging off the side you could "drive", no slides but there were lots of different places you could climb. I think there was a rock wall too. But... They tore down that playground so now it's only arcade games and food there. It's really sad that the younger generation will never experience this childhood wonder of getting stuck inside of the really small tubes you had to crawl through to get the the car.

Omg the burger kind playgrounds were THE BEST!!!! I remember when my mom would take us to any restaurant that had a playground, she'd tell us that we could either get a happy meal (or that restaurants equivalent) or we could play on the playground. As a kid, I never really liked the happy meal toys unless they had Pokémon cards, so I would almost always choose the playground.
I just remembered “Zona Divertida” in my hometown, it recently closed, but back in the day it was AMAZING, it had everything and more, from drawings to sand games to jumping zones, and also the standard maze-like playzones with 2 like ziplines. Good times
My McDonald’s playground memory: I was five years old and living in a very religious family. I saw another child about my age and thought that it was my duty to tell him that Jesus loved him. I caught up to him in the tubes and told him that if he asked Jesus into his heart he could go to heaven, and he turned around and gave me a look I’ll never forget. He yelled right into my face “I don’t believe in Jesus, I worship the devil!” My terrified little Christian heart shriveled and I ran down to my mom and cried. 😂😂😂

I spent half my childhood there, but as a 14-year-old the only time I remember was when I was 8 or 9 and a 13-year-old asked if I wanted him to push me down the yellow slide. He had started the line for this previously and it was my turn. Naive me said "Sure!" and when he pushed me down, he grabbed my long ponytail. I tell you this thing went down to my knees, so I only felt him pulling it when I got halfway down the slide. Then he just held me there, crying, by my ponytail, and his sister (i think) was at the bottom trying to help me and asked, "did he get you too?"
Yeah, that was the last time I went to the play place and let someone even talk to me. It was traumatic...

I remember one time I went to this local pizza place that had a playground and arcade (basically chuck e cheese but without animations) and these two boys were chasing me and bullying me and I managed to find my way underneath some of the toys to get away from them. Thankfully they were too big to get under while I wasnt and when I finally lost them I went to my parents who pretty much saw the whole thing and we ended up finding their parents who scolded them pretty hard. That was my last (or second to last I cant remember) time in that particular playground.
I absolutely loved the burger King playground when I was 7 or 8. We lived so close as well. I do remember I was scared of the part with the window cuz I was scared the plastic would break. We (me and my older brother) once made my aunt (who was abt 45 at the time) go in the playground. Poor aunt
