How I solved the "Large aperture" grill openings which endangered lizards, frogs and beneficial bees was a no-brainer for me. I purchased a $4.00+ "disposable grill topper" (aluminum for the BBQ grills), took one and with a scissors, cut a swatch of one to go around the grill (and a leftover piece at the rear) and tied them with 6 inch zip ties at three places on each side through the existing bugzapper, cutting off the excess. That way there's 1/4 - 3/8 opening holes throughout to allow my "pet flies and mosquitos" to get in and they don't check out.
i bought one and it would have burned my house down, just so happened i was there to put the fire out,it zapped a bug so hard that it sat it on fire, the bug was zapped out of the unit while on fire onto the paper on the table and it started to burn while i was there,so now when i hear it zaps a bug i come running.
Probably not the best thing to put paper under this especially since it says to keep 20 feet away from human activity 🤣🤣 this is a prime example why companies have to put instructions cause common sense isn’t so common 🤦🏽♂️
@@Javifrom303 there was no instructions because i bought it from a yard sale, you have finished all of your dum comments try the stupid ones lol lol lol
I bought this one, and lasted less than 2 months. I bought a smaller one for $30 and then a larger one for $65 and both were Black and Decker. I'll never buy a B&D product again!
black flag is the brand i preffer. ive used them around and inside of my chicken coops for many years. flowtron also makes good ones. Black flag is easy to find, flowtrons come from Amazon and maybe somwhere else locally im not sure. if your specifically wanting to kill mosquitoes, the black flag comes with 1 months worth of mosquito attractant. moths, gnats, flys will be attracted just by the light... the flowtrons makes more heat so they attract mosquitoes better but cost a few pennies more to burn.

Sounds like caution should be used with this and similar devices
Had same one for 2 years and not one dead fly ,,
You should have a collection tray at the bottom. Mine does.

@@anotherreviewbyfrank5870 does it handle the RGV mosquitos?
Yup. It got worked at all the places I tried it in my backyard.
I just put mine up and all I'm hearing is pop, pop, pop, pop!! Literally within 10 seconds I plugged it in and pop!!
Can you hear the zap?
prolly. I haven't witnessed it though.
I bought one and i almost burned my house
Those bug zappers are not good at all they have no power enough to kill a bug
