@Joe Schmo Quite honestly, from my point of view, McQueen has surpassed both. But I see how he can be compared more so to Scorsese more than Spike Lee.

be the Spike Lee of the next decade.

Steve McQueen and Spike Lee are NOTHING alike. McQueen is a far better director too.

Why would anyone feel the need to diminish Spike Lee in order to elevate Steve Mc? Different eras...both great directors. Period.
