Thank you for the tips. Just got a new Rocketbook, and these helped so much. Getting ready to go back to school at 50, so the Rocketbook seems amazing for that😊
Great video. Thank you! My wife just got me one and I was skeptical because I like the old fashion pen and paper. But I didn’t realize what this was until I opened it. It is a real pen and paper, lol. Now I love it. You provided some awesome tips here that I was unaware of. Even better! Thanks again!
Very helpful since I just bought a Rocketbook so i can group my notes together and retrieve for an entrepreneurial biz. Thanks for making this so clear! 😊🎉
I received a RocketBook Executive Planner as a Christmas gift, really excited for it as I write a LOT of notes for work. This was the first video I've seen on it, thank you, lots of great info!!
What a great idea 1 of ___ numbering and the keywords. Thank you! My Rocketbooks (2 of them) are coming today. OCR, hmm, interesting, I guess I didn't go in that direction. My handwriting is usually awful.
When it comes time to study or review previous notes, do you have to be using a computer or other device or can you access those for review using the Rocket notebook?
Thanks, never new about the ## for title ##...I still am on the fence wondering why I would erase all my intricae notes. Why not just use a regular pad and never worry about the computer crashing etc....still ont convinced...
how do you correct small mistakes while writing your notes. With Pen and paper you use a gum. I find it difficult to use water while i am writing a note. Do you have another system. Thank you for your video. Best regards, Fabrizio
That was one of my early frustrations as well. But then I found they make these Frixon pens with erasers that work pretty well. You can find them on Amazon. Here is a link to them: tinyurl.com/y9rfvtcj
Essentially, you write in the Rocket Book then take a picture of your pages with their app. It will then send the picture to the destination of your choice. I mostly send to an email address or a folder on OneDrive. They have a lot of options though and it's super easy to set up. I believe you can have 8-10 different destinations. It's a really inexpensive product and the instructions that come with it are intuitive. I'd recommend just giving it a try.
Great question! I do find I have to replace the pens faster than the normal pen. Since I posted this video, I have discovered retractable pens, so hopefully they don't dry out as quick from the cap being left off.

As far as I know, the app on your phone is the only way you scan it. I am not sure if they have a desktop app for your computer. That would be something to look into. You can take photos of each page, but you can upload them as one file.
@organizationsolutionsllc thanks. So I have a functional question. Why not use a touchscreen tablet and a stylus pen. Then the file can be saved as a digital file ..so there is no need of scanning. Just wondering if this would make sense. I have not done it myself so asking the question .
@@TheCheckit96 Great question! I have tried the tablet/pen tool and it just didn't work for me. I prefer the Rocketbook for 2 reasons. 1) It is simpler to set up and use (I mean, it's just a paper and pen.) So, if I suddenly find myself needing to take notes, there is zero effort to get started. 2, and more importantly) The nature of my work usually means that in meetings, I am using my computer to show things. So, I can't use it for taking notes as well. Thanks for asking! Hope that helps!!
Why d9on't you SHOW us how it works - rather than talk about how it works, And what do you mean "supposedly" it has OCR? These are features that we need to see work on a "how to" video.
I understand your comments. My forte is workplace efficiency,, not RUclips videos. But I wanted to share this very cool tool the best I could. It does indeed have OCR. It is a setting that has to be turned on. And of course, works best when the handwriting is legible. I've been able to search my notes though which has been great. It's a very inexpensive product and really intuitive.
@@organizationsolutionsllc I was going to add, "Ms. Jackson, if you're nasty," but I wasn't sure you'd get the reference, and I did not want to offend. Lol. 🤣. By the way, I just ordered a Rocketbook, so thank you so much for the videos.
Got this as a gift from my son. Definitely appreciate him - even more so now. What a great son!!!
I.. don’t know how to read this

That's fantastic! Glad you got something useful out of the video!
Got this as a gift from a student, had no idea. Thank you for your simple to follow video.
You are welcome!

If you don't delete them from the App, they should still be there.

I am not trying to convince anyone. Do what you are comfortable with. I just got to the point where I wanted to make a change.
Good explanation
Thanks!

@@organizationsolutionsllc I've read that it's not suggested to use the eraser, I don't know why though.
Are these notes searchable after uploading?
I use Windows 11 and the search tool works for me as long as my handwriting isn't awful.
I'm still having difficulty understanding the scanning and destination features. Do you have advice or another video?

@@organizationsolutionsllc Thank you
I use One notes as a destination and I can’t transcribe my handwriting to text
I haven't tried that. That's unfortunate.
ow do you set up the destinations???
