Don't worry about the Seasons and Battlepass, they implemented them extremely well. Seasons have brought a HUGE amount of content and story and last for a good amount of time. While the battlepass is 100% free, all items you don't earn in the pass are put into the other in-game loot pools, no missing out on stuff here. The only other way they've monetized the game is through DLC cosmetics packs. Overall, DRG Devs are so incredibly pro player.

Love how the “miner” joke was fine when Max0r did it in Metal Gear Rising Part 2, but some how pushing it when it’s Sseth.
It probably went over my head with Max0r, man works art with how he edits things.
Yeah that's an accurate representation of DRG. Particularly the manners thing. Pinging mushrooms (an update specifically added voice lines from Mission Control reacting to and being annoyed by this action), the minor greenbeard hazing period (they have to learn the dangers through experience, they get helped back up afterwards), and a lot of the other bits were also quite accurate.

In my first game I ordered a leaf lovers because it's the only alcohol you have access to at level 1. All three other dwarves immediately stopped dancing, looked at me in shame and disgust, and told me to jump into the ring myself.

I've always had the head-canon that the Rivals are elves, Because of a line when taking down a shredder ("Next time, Try shredding some treehouses.") And because the idea of not wanting to sully their hands with heavy labour sounds exactly like those leaf loving wankers.

Welcome to Sseth, Kip. The dark, bottomless pit of ssethtzeentach starts with only one video and it's impossible to escape. BUT... NEVER watch his Evenicle video! Do yourself a favor and avoid that video at all costs. All others are 10/10 recommended.

Loved the video.
Also the She Hulk thing was really bad. On the first episode when she gets her powers she instantly has full control over it which is narratively terrible then goes on a tangent about how it was much easier for her because she is a woman and has to deal with things like cat calling and other things. She effectively belittles Bruce (The Hulk) over this and compares their trauma saying hers is greater. Its really bad. Just incase you forgot the Bruce is suicidal due to his origin and... as someone who... greatly relates to the Hulk and being a suicide survivor it sounded like the show was calling me out for being weak among many other things.
MCU She Hulk unironically made me angry enough to be on par with Bruce. And it was the whole "My trauma is greater" thing that did it. Yeah sure, just because you're a woman that automatically makes everything you've been through worse than having to watch your father beat your mother every day, listen to it every night, and listen to him kill her while you, a kid, can do nothing.
Bruce was so messed up by the abuse his father dealt him and his mother that he developed a violent, angry imaginary friend/split personality to cope. After gaining his powers, that same split personality gained an outlet and takes his hatred out on the world, and Bruce is so scared of that, of hurting people, that he wants to die, but he physically can't, and the She Hulk writers have the AUDACITY to imply that her simply being a mildly attractive woman makes her struggle worse.
Sounds like a couple of incels annoyed at She-hulk having full control of her powers even though it's always been that way.
People compare trauma's all the time, and what those two discussed is literally something me and my siblings or cousins would do and then laugh it off later. Because siblings and cousins are assholes to each other when your actually close.
7:44 In case Kip didn't know this one already: this one is basically a lateral reuse of a bit from Max0r's second _Metal Gear Rising_ video.
In the actual game, Sundowner (a boss) says, to wit, "Kids are cruel, Jack - and I'm very in touch with my inner child.", seemingly to claim his own cruelty as being natural to the human condition, which is kind of his theme.
In Max0r's parody video, instead the parody version of Sundowner says, "kids are cruel, Jack - and I love minors" (at which point the alternate voice actor can't hold back his laughter).
This is imo a skillful (while edgy) double entendre, as if the parody version of the character still meant to express the same idea ("I love [the cruelty that is characteristic of] children") but instead said it in an awkward way that has a worse interpretation.
Sseth's reuse of Max0r's bit is not too surprising at that point.
Now watch the illegitimate offspring bonds one.
Here's hoping, more people need to know about Bastard Bonds, it's a great little game that deserves the recognition.

Rock and Stone! seriosly tho, deep rock is great and you definitely need to play it. The learning curve is really good and its highly replayable.
DPG is the best co-op game since L4D2. It's not even a contest, if you have friends play this with them. Play it if you don't, the community is shockingly wholesome.

I always prided myself on being an excellent driller. Multiple times I had an entire team following me through my tunnel straight to the drop pod, ignoring all the nonsense we went through and just laser-pointer drilling through the world at high speed while Molly wanders back on her own.
The content and costumes from the seasons (and the season itself) is free and in the base game if you didn't get it during the season
