Excelent build. But I would just get the Maxx over the Hoss. By the time you upgrade everything on the Hoss to match the durability of the Maxx, it will be way more money than a Maxx. But I know that the Hoss is more stable I guess 😂.
just drill a hole and add a filups screw in the batt strpap area after u fasten it in the small screw goes in the edge and keeps the clip from coming out and so batt wont eaither
I have a mamba monster 6s in my maxx running on 4s and it’s been reliable for over a year with crazy bashing. I had the same esc in my revo 2.0 running on 6s with the stock Traxxas battery’s and that burnt out after 5 months.
@@metalrc Would you happen to know what the part number is, or what ESC that mount was for? I am trying to mount an aftermarket ESC to my Hoss but tape alone isn't sufficient. Thinking I need a plate.

Do they make a specific kit for the hoss or how did you do that because it’s not made to use Velcro straps please explain I want to know!
It has an adhesive base and Velcro straps, they’re cheap and work very well

How did you mount the ESC to the Hoss, if you don't mind me asking? Did the Copperhead just drop in? Did you need a specific mounting plate?
I used a Hobbywing ESC mount that I had laying around
