I'm old school. I just cant get on board with this tiny, chinese toy crap. They aren't even kits. It's so painfully obvious the reason the industry loves shilling these is because they're purely profit based. The margins are huge. You guys paying upwards of $150 for $12 of chinese electronics and plastic. Its crazy. These companies are making a killing. Just look at the complex Amain Hobbies has built, literally a multi million dollar facility. The value just isnt here for me. In the 80's we wouldve bought stuflike this.at radio shack for under $35 and given to a child. I'm Gen X pushing 50, maybe I'm built different but its impossible for me to understand how full grown men find interest in this stuff. Anyway, you asked for opinions, this is mine. I just dont understand the allure. I'll continue to build mine. 1/12th scale pan cars are where I draw the line.

For painting brass its a good idea to hit it with some 600 grit sandpaper and wipe it down with some 90% alcohol if u ever have to do it again

I have the same issue with mine. VRD with a stubby kit, snubnose revolver and the v3. I LOVE that combo for slow speed but yes, my Reefs Raw 500 browns out like crazy. It’s the worst when the wheels get in a tiny bit of bind. I tried to remedy it with an NSDRC budget direct power servo but it’s not as fast and smooth as the Raw 500. So I’m probably going to get this too.

Is it possible to have a mad wagon perform decently on 2S? Is it as simple as a motor in the 3000kv to 3500kv range with a pinion gear change?

I'm interested in buying a Mad Wagon. I don't care for the big stock tires. What are some more race oriented pre-mounted tires that I can buy? Should I look for short course wheels and tires?

It appears to not want to lift the nose in flight, it also looks like it’s dumping the nose way to hard when braking in flight. I’ll bet turning the brake down and upping the punch would help this thing out a lot.

Is 62mm too large for the stock trx4m bodies? I’m looking and it seems like 56-57 is probably as large as I could go.

Shock Retainer C-Rings a bit of a pain. Use the ProTek PTK-H-2104 2.5 X 12mm Hex head screws for the diffs (slightly smaller 2.5 vs 2.6 would fit better in new plastic hole). Add Kyosho VZ012B and 97001B if you want to remove the front spool, and make front diff work. You could also add extra spider gears to rear diff.

How does it feel relative to the sketer?

Cool video. Team Corally offer the best value for money in the 8th scale line and it's nice to see them tackle 10th scale. I would have liked to see s2 steel outdrives like their 6s line, though. But hey, they've still got CNC machined steel spur, so they're still one up on Traxxas. Sintered powder steel gears on a $1000 truck? Shame on them. And they offer rollers, so that's 2 for 2 After 3 upgrades my Kagama is bulletproof. 1) battery straps 2) titanium shock standoffs (ADU Racing) 3) i had to buy serrated wheel nuts but the Kagama 4 includes them, so there ya go. I've only broke two parts: a rear camber link and a CVA. But the battery straps will break, at least if you run a 2.2 pound 6s 8200 SMC they will 😂

What tires you recommend for this vehicle I was going to get a skeeter now leaning towards this kagama 4s . Most 1/10 tires seam a tad small like badlands these are 134 I’d like a tire just a tad larger for better jumping air control ???

Diffs are not the same. They are compatible, however, the 6s line comes with an aluminum center diff cup, s2 steel outdrive cups, and the internals are also slightly different. Jenny's RC has the 6s line diffs (and other upgrades) on the cheap. I picked up the 6s aluminum center-diff for $40 and sway bars for $20 for my Syncro4.
