Can you please clarify? So you just chain multiples of 13 with no chain 2? But you still skip 2 in the beginning when going into the chain with the first half double crochet?
The reason a lot of us are getting it wrong is because the foundation needs to be a multiple of 11+3, not 13. The row after the hdc (3rd row) have a repeat of 11, not 13. I've made mine bigger at 113 stiches in the foundation (10×11 +3) and it works out perfectly with the 3rd row now finally. It's +3 instead of +2 because you use the chain 3 in the beginning of row 3 as a dc. Meaning the first section on row 3 is only 10 stiches, not 11 like the rest of them. Though you have 2 extra dc at the last repeat. Hope this can help some of you! Love the pattern and design 🤗 thanks for sharing.
For the front and back panel I did as you said multiples of 13 and not include the two it was going well till I made a mistake and so I just decided to follow the video (78+2 skip 2 in beginning )instead and it's worked fine. As for the sleeves I did chain 65 but the second row wasn't how it ended up like on the video.
Wow really nice work and gorgeous. I will try it for sure and it would be my second of yours. And surely not the last as your work is really beautiful. Keep up the good work.❤ Thanks for showing us how it's done

I have made this sweater now twice in a size Medium. For the body, I chained 7 sets of 13, on the 8th set I did a chain of 11. I did a total of 27 rows. For the arms I chained 6 sets of 13, then on the 7th I did 11 chains. I did a total of 19 rows then completed the cuff.

I'm not understanding where i messed up. I saw where you said you made the mistake of the extra chain 2 so didn't do that. Starting chain is 52 (making for toddler), row 1 has 50 half doubles, but i cant get row 2 to end on the 2 doubles. Went back and added the ch 2 and got closer, but either way I'm still short?
Could I get help on the sleeve? When I try to do multiples of 13 I end with the 2dc next to each other on row 3 instead of the 3 dc with one ch between them. I want to do a beginning ch of 91 (13*7). Not matter how many chs I do I end up with the 2dc next to eachother, but when you do ch65 you end the row with the 3 dc that have ch one between them. Please help, I tried messaging you on insta but never got an acceptance to my request to message.
I don’t understand, I have HDC on row 3. I thought you meant row 2 maybe, but I don’t understand that either , I end the row with 1 DC and skip the last stitches to close it off directly with a Slipstitch .
@@accrochets Sorry yes I meant row 2. So you end with 1dc then skip 2 and slip stitch. For some reason when I do 91 chains I end up with 5 chains left before I slip stitch :(
@@Izzie8 you can take off those stitches at the start and chain 89 ( not sure why it’s not working) or you can just skip the 5 and slip stitch to close off . ( only if the pattern we are working with is complete)
Hello! Is it possible to do it with less than 78 chains ? Because I this is too large for my size. Can I do 5 multiple of 13 instead of 6? Thanks a lot for helping me! 😊
Of course, customize us the way you like, you can make it bigger or smaller. This is just how I wanted mine, for you you can decide to add less inches to your shoulder measurements and it will be a smaller fit.
May you explain how we get the measurements for the arms again? The instructions were a little confusing for me. Based off what you said mine would be 15-10=5 + 4=9 or is it 15+4=19-10=9+4=13
I cant figure out where im going wrong! Im making mine much bigger, so i have 117 stitches ( I counted 4 times) Im NOT adding two chains to row one, and when i start the pattern on row two, my 2 DC's side by side are 6 stitches away from the end. ive triple checked the pattern to make sure im doing the right rotation...please help :(
Not sure where you are getting it wrong, but please watch this pattern tutorial maybe she explained it better ruclips.net/video/UdSSEoZIaU8/видео.htmlsi=bBJ9BRpBfBg6Dsvz
I have a question! I have 91 stitches and in the first row of double crochets, i always have two extra stitches. Did i do something wrong? 91 is a multiple of 13.
Because my biggest audience is not in Europe, but you can always covert this easily with google. Simply google 15 inches in cms and google will tell you. I will try give both cm and inches.
@@accrochets , yes, but still it is hard for me to see what you are doing. Please just do your own projects in black off record, but for any future tutorial videos, please just use a colour that we can see, also and it was hard for me to watch with your nails in the way, sorry! I love your patterns. Best colours to use in tutorial videos are light blue, olive green, light pastel colours, etc., but not the bright ones, please. Grey is fine, too, as long as it is not gunmetal grey. Best way to work out which colour does works on camera is to practice how we could watch from our perspective point, because sometimes a particular colour does not work on record due to the camera’s pick up on colour brightness/contrast (not sure of the spelling). It is the same issue with the camera on phone when taking a still photo and it shows up much brighter or more darker (depends on the colour settings) than we see it with our naked eyes (off camera). Might need to temporarily change the background colour by covering your worktable with a small mat-sized blanket which helps to offset the chosen yarn colour. Hope this helps. With love from Vanessa, from Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA ❤️🇦🇺🧶
Hi guys, PLEASE NOTE: Foundation chain is a multiple of 13 chains, do not add 2 chains before the start of row 1.

Which yarn is best to use? 100% acrylic of cotton?
Maybe cotton is to stiff and acrylic will stretch out? Can someone advise me?
Maybe 50/50
