I tracked down a small stash at a Brick & Mortar in Tokyo. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I cannot wait for the Canadian winter weather to approach before sampling this gem. Question Nathan : Would Mainz have a B & M Shop that would stock these blends ?
Excellent Sitruk (i hope that is your name😊) but why wait for winter enjoy some now & jar the rest for the arctic weather you guys experience😁 I have no idea on B&M shops in Mainz as i live in England
@@TheVapingPiper Oh, I figured you were closer to Germany. So I see you are in the heart of ‘Germain’ country ! Perhaps 1820 Flake is a favorite of yours ? Nathan, were these Pesse Canoe Tins sealed or do they need to be opened and jarred up to keep them from drying out ? Thank you 🙏🏼 Sitruk is Kurtis in reverse 🔄 ( Kurt is the name ) So it may be time to crack a Latakia Tin as the morning stratus clouds are hanging low in the sky…a sure sign that fall is on its way (;
Hi Kurt. I would have loved to try the Germains 1820 flake but unfortunately impossible to obtain nowadays unless sold privately for exuberant amounts of money. As for aging the Pesse Canoe. The seal is not the best, what I recommend is the take out the tobacco flake with the golden wrapper and place as it is, in a mason jar so the flake retains its moisture & symmetrical shape. Or store the whole tin with the plastic seal untouched in an airtight container. I have done the latter to all my tins except for one that I smoke now & again that I use a mason jar.
Excellent review Nathan👍 Lucky i ordered a few tins from tabak-traeber when they had it in stock. Waiting for my shipment any day now. Very much looking forward.
Pesse Canoe, I went to the website you mentioned, Nathan and they are all out of stock unfortunately. I will definitely have to put this blend on my list if must try. Thank you, Nathan!
One word - Sold! Great review Nathan 😀 I note some distributors (EPH) are restricting to 1 tin per order which suggests supply might be somewhat intermittent and in small batches
Thanks Mark😊 yes, I can certainly assume quantity restrictions on this blend are in place with some tobacconist. It is a fairly new blend & the hype is mounting that is for sure. I hope you managed to order some tins.
Thanks Mike. Although as I said in the review it is not your classic English blend but well worth to try, it is very tasty “English” but with a Turkish twist

I might of misunderstood you Mark. When you say Sold you mean no one has them in stock or Sold on the idea😊 big difference
Sold on the idea - as a result of your superb review Nathan 😉
Alas, i missed out...but am now on the hunt.
Check out peakfein- shop in Germany it seems they have it in stock
Thanks Nathan, not sure they ship outside of the EU...could not find any info on their site that confirms the fact.
I might email them tomorrow
