    Very interesting gentlemen.
This blend has quickly become one of my favorites because of the "edge", but I do understand what you mean. In the beginning, I tried to taper that edge with some Newminster 403 Superior Round Slices by starting my bowl with BS, then laying a 403 slice, then a little more BS followed by one more round and topped with BS to sweeten it and take that "edge" off. I'll have to try pressing and maybe even pressing with a bit of Newminster 400 (Navy Flake) just to add a touch of magic 🪄✨.
Thanks for sharing and congratulations on the BIG 💯! JB

Great review, I am watching this for the second time. Would you guys consider to do an episode where you define what are Balkins, Virginia's, VaPers, Englishes, Aromatics, etc., And give some of your favorite blends in each of the categories. I would enjoy your opinions and descriptions, I think your ability to talk to us all but be helpful and appreciated.

Interesting results. I've got a pound of Stokkebye's Balkan Supreme jarred up and largely ignored, as I find it a bit too harsh around the edges. I'll press and see if I get the same results you achieved with the Arango.

I’ve got 2oz. of this laying around. I thought the exact same thing as you guys. I’m going to have to press it and try it. I enjoyed watching this process.
    Cheers!

Fantastic 3 part series. I'm curious.. what is your favorite Balkan that you might smoke every day?

Easy…Plum Pudding Special Reserve! That’s my favorite. Watch City Cigar Nor’easter would be next.

Well done guys! You mentioned plum pudding....its my favorite ... not sure if you have reviewed it yet. Would love to see a plum pudding...plum pudding barrel aged....let me know! Still love the content! Keep up the work! Steve from Chicago!

Thanks Steve. We haven’t done Plum Pudding yet...I think everyone knows it’s one of my top 3 though. Didn’t like the Barrel as much... a bit too boozy. I’m letting it sit for a while to see if it gets any better. Thanks again.

Really enjoyed that presentation. I have been pressing a lot of the tabaccos that I haven’t enjoyed , to see how the pressing alters the blend. It was great to hear your thoughts. And you gave a tip of the hat to 10 to Midnight....so I’m guessing you know your stuff 👍
    Great episode gentlemen. Be well.

I don't get the harshness or sharpness you talk about. I do wish it had a little sweetness though. Maybe I'll try pressing in a little HGL or something with a little sweetness. I'll have to think about it. I like it quite well just as it is. It's good to use it as a change of pace. Variety is the spice of life.

Very interesting. I don’t get the edginess with this blend, and like it. I have a 3 month jar and counting. How old is your bulk? Big fan of the grapefruit taste.
FYI, STG also owns Cigar International and The Colony store has some Peter Stokkebye bulk blends.

The black cavandish in that stuff is just a filler...in germany we call it Rauchpappe - smoking cardboard. We give it to old people and small children too feeble to complain.
