It’s interesting but Christians who have been redeemed from Atheism or other religions are more adept with explaining the truth. The way God revealed it to me was simply seeing His word and comparing God to a man. Yahweh the Father is the man; Yahweh the Son, Who is called Yeshua and Jesus, is the word/voice(Genesis 3 refers to Him as the voice of Yahweh walking in the garden) of Yahweh which is both Him and not exactly Him at the same time, Who is with Him always (as every spoken word of a man is already within him the moment he is conceived) Who proceeds from Him (thereby being His Son[as "son" carries the general meaning of that which proceeds from someone/something]).

I took a seminary class with Stephen Wellum, and I noticed he generally described Jesus as "God the Son in the flesh" instead of "God the Son." I asked him about that phrase, and he said it was purposeful to emphasize Jesus' diety and identity as the trinitarian Son. I have now found myself using that phrase often. I believe it is helpful to avoid some of the confusion about the title Son of God. Although, as Scripture is clear, the title Son of God is certainly appropriate. Thanks for the video, David.

Jesus please hear my prayers. I know sometimes, it may be hard to trust God’s plan but we must take comfort and have faith in him. I know we can’t place our faith in mortal things. I have lost so much since losing my job as a social worker at Forsyth Hospital. I lost my job because I declined the vaccine I declined due to my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. I have two beautiful boys both are autistic. My husband passed away years ago. I feel so alone. Each month is a struggle to not end up on the streets with my two boys. I’m constantly afraid of losing my home. But even as I face homelessness nearly every month. I have faith, God will provide. He has this far. With GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE please pray for me and my two little boys. 😭🙏🏾

But we needed the confirmation of the father to Know who he also truly is. Also for Jesus being the son of God doesn’t make him less messiah. The author is a convert to Islam who had a Christian testimony before he got derailed in his academic studies via textual criticism. Kind of like Bart Erhman except he went Islamic rather than atheist. Hard to believe he swallowed the narrative of Islam without investigating the original sources.

When talking about John 1 (18:30), don't forget that in the Quran Jesus has the title "Kalima min Allah", (word from/of God) in sura 3:39 but doesn't say anything about why he should be given that title. It comes, of course, straight from this passage, and is a great opportunity to explain the title.

I took a seminary class with Stephen Wellum, and I noticed he generally described Jesus as "God the Son in the flesh" instead of "God the Son." I asked him about that phrase, and he said it was purposeful to emphasize Jesus' diety and identity as the trinitarian Son. I have now found myself using that phrase often. I believe it is helpful to avoid some of the confusion about the title Son of God. Although, as Scripture is clear, the title Son of God is certainly appropriate. Thanks for the video, David.

Dear brother David, neither do the Christians anywhere in the world claim that Yeshua is the son of allah. Christians like me claim that Yeshua is the son of Yahweh, and not/never allah. Yahweh and allah are not the same entity, and they are proper nouns, unlike God and illah which are common nouns. Thank you very very much for the video.

@@thomaskristensen4679 yeah, I know he knows this, because what I know about Islam I learned from David, Sam and Christian Prince and a few apologists from Kerala, India. Why I keep raising the issue is because there are people listening to this who are brand new to this field, and they will likely get confused by such statements. Majority of innocent Christians think that the God of the Christians and Mohammadanism are the same, especially in the western world. When either of the three I mentioned make a statement, they have to be ultra careful in their choice of words, especially regarding characters in the two faiths. How many Christians know that Mary and Yeshua of the Bible and Mariam and Isa of the Khoran are totally different entities who lived years apart in history. There is a concerted attempt to spread the Taqiyya that the characters in the Bible and the Khoran are similar, and we should not be fertilizing the soil with untruths.

When talking about John 1 (18:30), don't forget that in the Quran Jesus has the title "Kalima min Allah", (word from/of God) in sura 3:39 but doesn't say anything about why he should be given that title. It comes, of course, straight from this passage, and is a great opportunity to explain the title.
