  • Night in the Woods is great and so is Bea. We should all be more like Bea.

I've recently seen some theories that Bea's dad was a part of the cult since he doesn't appear in the epilogue. And while that hurts my heart to think of Bea alone in the world, I could see him becoming bitter and feeling like it would have been the only way to get things close to normal

I could see that as a theory goes

That seems unlikely considering Bea would at least mention the fact that her dad is missing in the epilougue.

@@soumyadip5434 yeah kind of a thing of note after the whole cult thing

    Bea's story is so compelling.
She has every reason to simply give up yet it is solely out of her compassion that she continues, even though doing so makes her miserable. She clings onto the specter of her dreams as tightly as she can to get her through the day but then Mae comes home and shatters that willful illusion, that last lifeline.
Bea is definitely my favourite character.

Coming back to this now that my Gregg/Angus video is done to add something I realized while writing it. Gregg and Angus and their story share a lot of parallels to the character development Mae has when hanging out with Bea. I think it's why I like the Bea hangouts more because I love seeing someone start the scary, difficult process of changing and growing. I love the Gregg hangouts for different reasons that will be in the video, but Bea's is probably my canon playthrough.

These videos are fantastic, allows me to find an even deeper appreciation for the game when you're able to articulate the fragmented thoughts swimming in my brain about these wonderful characters :)

Beautifully written! hoping your channel starts to blow up you deserve it. This gave me more perspective on Bea as I was had only watched a playthrough of the game and missed out on so many Bea scenes. She is an amazing character.

    late state capitalism
    keep telling yourself that
capitalism started with people working in factories without any safety on old machines that werent tested
have ou seen the elevators they used to lower coal mine workers in?
    but sure, this is decline
