I seem to remember a episode i think it was in black in white of a man that had a metal mask or maybe it was a robot that looked pretty evil,am i mistaken?

The thought just occurred to me ..... Imagine if the leading men from U.N.C.L.E. were to have teamed up with the Stars of the show ; Mission Impossible to fight international terrorism ? ! And make it a 2 part episode ..... and to really add some " excitement " to the mix , have as a special guest star : BRUCE LEE fighting on their side . Think about it ..... wouldn't that have made for one HELL OF AN EPISODE ... I'd bet that the t.v. ratings would have gone thru the roof , especially if produced and directed properly . I mean this is all 20/20 hindsight I'll admit but wouldn't that have been something really spectacular , again if produced & directed properly ?
This opener always cracks me up. Agents walking around with dress shirts and BDU shoulder holsters. Agent sitting at a desk with just a telephone, no weapon, and moves like molasses in February, female agents wearing their sidearms in the most unreachable position possible. And yet as a kid I thought this was the best tv show ever. Until season 3 when my maturity level seem to advance in geometric progression compared to the shit writing this show had to endure. And whoever laid this soundtrack should be shot.
Action at its best in the 60's ! This seemed to be a very good action adventure TV series which i missed. I presume that this was largely based on James Bond movies which were hugely popular at that time. To my knowledge it was all TV episodes and no big budget movie was made. There was one movie called "The Return of The Man From U N C L E" which i suppose was screened. I also heard that few episodes were screened in cinemas during that time. In 2015 a new movie of the same name with an all new cast was screened. Is the music in this video from the original soundtrack done by Jerry Goldsmith?
Yes, U.N.C.L.E., as well as many other shows (I Spy, The Baron, Amos Burke secret Agent, Secret Agent, Avengers...) were inspired by the 007 craze. I wrote the music.
Wow you did the music!? It's great, I'm not from the time this show came out, but I really love all the old James Bond movies, maybe I should try some of the shows you listed, only one I knew was the Avengers.

Looks a bit like Jamal Barrett (of Star Trek fame) but I don't think she ever was in Man from U.N.C.L.E.
