- As every tour would do, they allow us to signal the whales to do some simple behaviors (or maybe complex if you know them XD) But this is one of the best moments as I felt like having a "Relationship Session" with the BEST WHALE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD 9my sweetheart:'))!! You can also see a closer look of her dorsal fin on that day and it looks perfectly healed although she is still getting treated;)
DISCLAIMER: I learned something new about Katina: which is that she "vacuums" her food to her mouth (WHICH I NOW ADORE SO MUCH!!!)

Im very VERY happy that she is still living even in her 40s for an orca she has a lot of energy, and i LOVE her daughter Nalani.
Yes, I mean that's pretty old for an orca in captivity. But in nature it would live for several more decades...
If Lolita lived to 57 in that abandoned whale bowl than Katina can live even longer with the best care at Seaworld
@@lbabytutorials4852 Reality has shown otherwise... The fact that Lolita has survived for so long is a miracle, and everything that happens at Sea World does not help to extend the lives of these animals...

Orcas go crazy in that small pod of water with orcas they haven't grown up with and thus can't communicate with. This is cruel.
Katina lives with her kids and her grandson + another female who was born there. They know her language and can communicate with her.

Katina has had 7 calves including Taku 1993-2007 Kalina 1985-2010 Unna Deceased 2015 MAKAIO 2010 Nalani 2006 Katerina Deceased 1999 her father was Tillikum the six freaking ton killer whale who killed three people while driven insane in captivity his victims were Keltie Byrne 1976-1991 Daniel P. Dukes unknown-July 6th 1999 Dawn Brancheau April 1st 1969-February 24th 2010

its not "broken" she was born with it that way. Nalani has her dorsal fin the exact same way.

Orca in the wild are not so sweet if you're a shark, seal, or Otter, top predator. They're more likely to kill a human by far at Sea World than in the wild. You've watched too much Disney Land.

Shame on parks like Seaworld and these trainers to imprison these beautiful sentient intelligent animals inside a pool! I just came back from Norway and swam with them and they’re so amazing. All of these trainers are a bunch of hypocrites. Karma is a bitch 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
