Dude your album cover is just how I feel on quarantine. A kentucky dude living in a holler, a psychedelic explorer, a horny rooster, a sly fox, a metalhead, an anxiety, at peace, at war, just trying to get by with my sanity and heart intact.
Sounds like a Good time to me!😜
Its a wild ride past lots of nice trees!
Sick 😷 dude ✌🤘👌
Preach on, Brother Beavis 🥲
Found a canvas online, it’s now on my wall
How do mainstream “new country artists” keep doing what they are doing after hearing something like this. How do they not just hold their heads in shame.. Tyler gets it. Well done sir..
Because the masses like shitty music. And they are in it for the money nowadays
Its interesting who John Prine would hang out with. Sturgill, Margo, Tyler. That's enough for me.
They call it “stadium country” for a reason. It packs stadiums full of people in brand new boots and rustic-look jeans and western wear who’ve never seen a dirt road or, well, dirt.
They wipe their tears with their money lol
👊😎🥃
You are my absolute favorite country singer of this time. I listen to you everyday and have got a lot of co-workers to listen and they all call ya, "New-Old Country." As a Texas born, Kentucky raised country feller, I'm proud to share a state with you.
Yeah I'm from Pikeville Kentucky
Him and Tyler childers. On repeat
Monticello KY ...been listenin to you since I heard nose on the grindstone
I’m right with ya man, I’m a Kentucky born and Raised farm boy who grew up to fit pipe and keep the world spinning striking arcs and keeping pipe together. I’ve know several rig hands listen to this fella non stop, and I listen to him everyday. Sure does good to remind me of riding around with my papaw in his 1972 C-10 listening to Loretta and Conway, little bit of Lester and Skruggs, this guy is definitely saving old country
Mmm he's country for sure but he's got this Appalachian vibe too it's pretty dopeeeee
Everytime I hear a new song, I get reminded this guys saving country music
I've heard and seen the same RUclips comment for the last 10 years. About Jamey Johnson. Sturgill simpson. Cody jinks. Etc. Still shit music in the radio. Money rules all Nashville. The masses like shitty pop music that hits the right tempos to give them a dopamine realse and feel good. Maybe one day. The radio will play real shit.
Thanks for listening to my rant. Lmao
@@randyreynolds6508 lol your comment applies to almost any genre of music...
@@randyreynolds6508 . Unfortunately, you're right. He can only get so big because the casual music fan typically likes crap music. It's just the way it is. With that being said, TC is going to make a hell of a living doing his thing. He's got a loyal fan base and it's going to continue to grow.
Who needs the radio anyways? 2019 broadcast yourself. Dump the system
Not all heroes wear capes. Some have red beards and wear flannel
“And for everyone you meet, there's a whole mess of people
Tryin' like hell to pull you on down
To the level they're on and the trouble they're tendin'
In the mess that they've made, in the gutter they found”
Unbelievable lyrics
You think that's good, you should hear some of his other stuff. I feel like most of these songs off this album are bubble gum for the brain compared to his old stuff, but I'm starting to warm up to it a little.
The best words ever wrote
Hell yes
Best song on the album.
I cannot disagree m'lady...BUT also LOVE, "PEACE OF MIND"....👋👍???
Damn straight
He played this at the Nelsonville music festival in Ohio before the album came out, and I cant explain how good it was.
You have great taste in music! I assume you can sing..
Yes it is but he kills it wow
Thank you so much for continuing the long legacy of REAL country music. All of your fans know the difference, and we ALL appreciate it. Keep them coming. Thanks Tyler, and Sturgill.
I enjoy Whitey as well.
Your vibrato is hauntingly beautiful.
Tyler is the best thing to happen to country music in a long time. #obsessed not a song by him that I don't love
Dude I u have a killer playlist all my faves on there
My little girl, FFA officer,16 yr. old who loves classic rock just asked me if I have heard of Tyler Childers. You are loved more than you know.
My lil girl loves all him as well, yall stay safe out there!
One of the best of our time!
Tyler Childers my friend I hope you read the comments, you can change the world 1 song at a time. Please keep doing what you do, for all the people in Kentucky and West Virginia who feel the songs you sings. We love you.
Lot of us in the back hollers of Ohio love his music, my grandparents were born and raised in KY and use to go every summer and spend the whole summer with them. No running water, no electricity,.and a outhouse with phone book for shit paper and I loved every minute of it.
In a small corner bar he sits there a-drinkin'
Lost as a ball in a field full of corn
Further away than he ever imagined
That he'd ever end up from the place he was born
Now no more forlorn as the Creeker drank whiskey
Than the one that you see outside of your eye
Drinkin' alone as he looks out the window
At all of the strangers on the corner outside
He'd rather be dead
Than alive one more minute
In this godforsaken town
When he was a kid
Lord, he'd never have dreamt it
All the ways that the city can bring a country boy down
Now they knew not his name and he knew not their faces
And he knew not the how nor the reason for why
You could ever wake up and wanna keep on livin'
In a place where a friend is such a hard thing to find
And for everyone you meet there's a whole mess of people
Tryin' like hell to pull you on down
To the level they're on and the trouble they're tendin'
In the mess that they've made, in the gutter they found
And he'd rather be dead
Than alive one more minute
In this godforsaken town
When he was a kid
Lord, he'd never have dreamt it
All the ways that the city can bring a country boy down
Some fellas do drugs and things of that nature
Some fellas chase girls to hang on their arm
Some fellas get by on practically nothin'
Some fellas get pissed in a small corner bar
And they'd rather be dead
Than alive one more minute
In this godforsaken town
When they were all kids
Lord, they'd never have dreamt it
All the ways that the city can bring a country boy down
Seen him live 4 days ago, hell of a show. It hits different live.
I just love that nice little reference to the Stanley Brothers.
Makes me think if him as a thoughtful young man.
Tya Rogers 1:48
@@tyarogers7062 the entire song
I just saw Tyler for the first time at Willie Nelson's Outlaw Festival in M.D.
I was sad about not seeing Sturgill, but was absolutely blown away by Tyler and band. I recorded some, but didn't get them all because I was totally mesmerized! He gives me hope 🙏 ❤
this 1 will take u home to the hollers in the hills of KY.
That trippy intro into the most beautiful fiddle intro give me chills! Heavenly! Pink Floyd meets steel guitar 😂
Thursday night. Miller Lite. Joint shared with my best friend. Had a pink sky tonight too. I'm a carpenter. Work tomorrow at 7. This guy to top it off. So fucking blessed.
Real Fucking country thank you fucking thank you Tyler!!!!!
I'm from NY (yeah I know I'm a Yankee! Fuggedaboudit) but lemmie tell you, all the soul in the 5 boroughs can't compare to the soul of this sole Kentuckian.
The first song I think I heard of his was white house road and it became one of my favorites, then coal, then follow you to virgie and that one got played about 20 times a day and then I went and listened to everything I could find. Now I’m here. I’ve never felt kindred with an artist just the meaning their words had to me, it’s always been a personal thing, it’s their expression and my interpretation. There was something different about Tyler’s music. I read a rolling stone piece that talked about one of his teachers mentioning that when he was a freshman in hs he was listening to bob dylan and asking this teacher about Kerouac, obviously he had a bluegrass influence, and then I realized the connection.
I said it Once Ill say it again Tyler is the MAN WHO KILLED SHITTY COUNTRY MUSIC ,,, I Love His Tune he is a Awesome Song writer.....
Check out billy strings really unreal away from the mire I could go on and on
Every day listening material and # 1 artist in my book shout out to "tyler childers" from this Minnesota plumber.
This is one hits home with me harder than I’m comfortable admitting. living in Appalachia and moving to the city for work has long been my biggest regret in life. Glad I got to meet this man in Knoxville a couple years ago
I am Hispanic and LOVE this song and the USA 🇺🇸
@Tyler Childers why you faking bro
Home is where the heart is. I hope
Drove from Oregon to Wyoming and back with my love and listened to this album the whole time. It was nice then, and it's nice now. Think of it whenever I'm in a city
From northern Kentucky and I love tyler, every single song is amazing, Kentucky loves you so much Tyler. God bless brother
HERES TO ALL THE CREEKERS OUT THEIR! 👌🏻🇺🇸🍻🥃
Yes Sir

RIP John Prine. Love some Kentucky musicians, so proud of dudes like Tyler, Sturgill, Chris and the up and comers.
knock them walls down and get some breathing room going ... love this
Brother the greats of real country are honored. Talent beyond your years.
I love the fiddle in this song!
You and colter wall saving country music
Larry Peters truest statement there ever was
Wall is ok
@@sidewinder-nf9qm I can't get into him
So is Sturgill Simpson.
Larry Peters Cody jinks
Still can't get over Tyler's voice..
As a country folk livin in the big city I feel this song in my soul 😭
You don't have to reinvent the wheel to make great music
You've inspired me so much feller...thank you for making things make sense and feel so real. Always will be an enormous fan no matter what you do.
You're the definition of real.
im a country boy from maysville forced to live in Louisville for work and i feel this one right down to the ground. it never gets dark in the city it never smells fresh after rain, plp dont pull over for funerals they wont feel another mans pain they just pass that hearse in the in the ever faster fast lane
"He knew not their name and he knew not their faces" tribute to Rank Stranger by stanley brothers
KC Karns if you listen closely to the music, the entire song is Rank Strangers played in 3/4 time. You can sing along with the lyrics to rank strangers and they fit right in place.
Rank stranger by the willow branch quartet more accurately
They knew not his name and, he knew not they're faces..
I know where I'm going next lol. Thanks.
That is awesome. I am really good at hearing things like this usually and picking them out. I wasn't familiar with Rank Stranger. Most Recently, My wife was listening to a moron marris song and I said: This is 9 to 5 by Dolly. Then I played it and it was spot on.
God damn has time crawled by this week waiting for this album to drop. Waiting for mine in the mail but this will do in the meantime!
cant get over how awsome this young man is. City boy hear who loves country and southern culture.
Cody jinks and this fella saved my faith!
How do you feel about black lives matter? Just curious
CoryBrothers why are you asking him that question? It’s not related to anything here
Amazing, haven’t had a song hit so close for a while.. been on repeat. Keep saving country music!
This right here is one of my new favorites! Keep gettin better Tyler!
Though you may not know it Tyler, you have let a whole new generation of southern men know how to take pride in being country. God bless you, Tyler.
Not even just southern. We love em up here on the lakes and in the north woods of Minnesota as well.
And Women, lol 🙄
This entire album is great. I love it
Favorite song on the new album. It doesn't seem as overproduced as the rest and has a classic country sound to it. Don't let Nashville bring a country boy down!
Thank you.
Another great tune, keep em coming.
Love this song!!!!
What a voice!
Honestly felt this song hard as fuck, lived in the city and being a feller from north Mississippi, the city is a cruel place for a country boy
I truly appreciate this
Can not stop playing this. Gospel.
Favorite on the album🔥🤘
The 11 people who disliked this must have been so drunk they were seeing double and hit the wrong button on accident. Only possible explanation.
...My bad
Tried to giver 2 thumbs up 🤪
Classic bro!!!
Just can’t argue about this mans talent!
Your a pure lyrical genius
Beautiful
"Lost as a Ball, In a field full of corn. Further away than he ever imagined that he'd ever end up from the place he was Born"
God damnit Tyler you did it again
Great song
I'm from Pike County and live in Lexington now and damn does this song make me miss the mountains. Proud Creeker.
I'm from Laurel county and lived up there for a while, when I heard this one I was reminded of my time up there. Damn glad to be home.
Country revolution !!!! ✊
Tyler has more soul in one verse than all of these "country" POP singers have all together. Keep it real brother. God Bless
Dick in dixie from Hank Williams III explains just that lol
God bless u Tyler for for putting out the greatest music ever played. It's sang from the bottom of your heart u put everything in it. Live or on a album every song sounds amazing. U have a song for every situation a Person may be in and they r all good and humble. Long live good country music.
O Yeahhh . Wonderful . Just great !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Morning music!!!This piece of music here is amazing bring it on to california!!
I’m enjoying this new style of Indian ragas in your intros. Amazing stuff
I caught him live in Atlanta last year December 7th one of the only concerts I've ever been to that sounds exactly like the album incredible dude
Holy. Shit.
godbless southern west Virginia and eastern Kentucky
🙌🏼 bro. Keep rippin.
City does bring a country boy down
Captivating, haunting , all too familiar lyrics over a solid arrangement.
Genius stuff.
Lucky I found this song. I'm gona dance with my love tonight to this tune...
Best of our time
This is a great album. Top to bottom, it's a classic.
"some fella's get pissed in small corner bars." which one of you's is that?! haha
I love your music keep it coming please😊
...a place where a friend is a hard thing to find.
This song brings piece to my life.
Love the nod to rank stranger in this
From one creeker to another, sure never thought I'd end up where I am, but I'm sure blessed to be here
From a small town in Massachusetts but stationed in south korea in the military. Each line of the song speaks to my life.
Outlaw country is the best country.
This guy is simply incredible. Generational talent, I think it’s called. Fits here.
Outta the gate @ # 1 !
I got a half chub listening to this
I'm fully tourqed
If I was capable, I would also. I bought a ticket to his show in minneapolis. I CAN'T wait.
you are capable. that's quitter's talk
Go listen to ever loving hand, and finish off.
Bruh same
One of the best to listen to daily.
God bless it all man
This song was released right after I divorced. A newly single dad hundreds of miles from Kentucky and my whole family. I’d listen to this song alone many a night while I had a couple drinks and wished I was back home.
6 Florida Georgia Line fans I see in the thumbs down section🤦♂️
🤣
Ha ha!
I almost feel ashamed that I like some of their songs. Dirt is fn awesome.
look like you got 3 of them hating on this 😂😂😆
FGL🤣🤣🤣🤢🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮
Almost all of your songs speak to me in some way, but none more than this one. Growing up in a small mountain town in West Virginia and living now in what is a big city to this old hillbilly is a huge change. It's very co.forting hearing my feelings and thoughts put to such a beautiful song by a fellow from a si.ilar upringing/childhood. Not to mention hearing such a talented individual from the same background tell beautiful stories through song about what it's really like growing up in the country, Appalachia specifically as opposed to the fairy tales these main stream "country" POP singers are peddling as country life
We love you brother!! Thank you for all your work❤️🤠
Already a classic.
New favorite song! I hope to see him in the Idaho area!
Can't wait to see him in Toronto. EH! !
You & Cody Johnson, keepin it COUNTRY!!
