That's like the TA in Terrell, TX. You think by looking at all the double parked rigs up front that the place is full but if you drive past the first three rows you'll usually find the back two are empty.

You poor day drivers this why i park at 5am nobody fueling and the ealybirds are gone park in the back next to curb becouse thats one less side i have to worry about some one hitting and call it a night
If you don't get to these truck stop by 4 or 5 pm it's always going to be like that, even in the middle of the day it's like that mainly because alot of these guys don't know how to back or are too lazy to walk a little farther to get into the truck stop
Welcome to Rock Springs, Wyoming! It is a small Flying J but for every legal guy there about three that are blocking something. I almost hate to sleep there because of the nearly constant announcements for people to move off the fuel islands. People would, but they usually seem to have some NON-parking idiot who has decided to park sideways or something. Irony being that the McD's across the street has tow nice spots usually empty at night, and a 200 space stop across the other street.
I stayed there one night early on in my driving career. Woke up to the crunch of plastic of someone else's truck. I now avoid that place like the plague

The regulations put in place electronically have made it so guys have the stress of parking anywhere they can for the breaks. Cents per mile is b.s. For some companies. I don't know how they do it.
I just quit PAM Transport was making .46 cpm as team Hazmat. It was shitty trying to make decent money with them. Bad part is I've heard people get paid worse than that other places.

Not too often, the size of the trucks takes some getting used to, but after a little while most drivers can just tell if it will fit. At least your concerned about that kind of stuff. In my experience the people that worry like that don’t make those mistakes. That’s are very cautious.
A GoPro knockoff made my monster digital. They are crap cameras. I have been thru 4 of them on warranty replacement, but they appear to have went out of business now. So I am looking for new cameras.

They need a public parking lot that will accommodate about 200 semis at every exit on the interstate where there is a major truck stop(they can take that "travel center" crap and stick it where the sun don't shine) because anybody that isn't as blind as me can see - there ain't enough parking.😎

No CB, how are you going to know where Smoky Bear is hiding, or you won't know is the Chicken Coops are open or closed, especially running low on hours, those guys man, how do they know? The one truck that was parked on the dirt shoulder wasn't blocking any traffic at all. The pavement was 100% available for other rigs to get by.

I always used to park in the far back corner. Only exercise I usually got was the walk to and from the restaurant.
That’s usually what I try to do as well.
Rather on the side of the driveway than on the fuel island.
If you are going to fk up, do not do it in front of other truckers.

Whenever possible, I was parked by 3 pm so I could avoid 90% of this idiocy.
