I remember a while back when I first received my special AC collector's box, I bypassed watching the movie right away. Shuffled the deck of pretty post cards once and snatched the book up out of the bottom and flopped back on my bed and read it from cover to cover. Originally I thought I would only be truly touched by Case of Tifa, in fact it was Denzel's story that had me bawling by the end of it. But I would never give up such a precious gift. All of the "Cases of" are such masterpieces and oh how I wished that Square would continue them on and several other mini series.
There's actually another book we've translated on our site called Lateral Biography: TURKS. It goes more into what Shinra were up to leading to the events of Advent Children.
Thank you for this project. As others said, after listening to these Advent Children makes a lot more sense and is much more poignant. As a side note, and this could be just me, but is anyone else getting a Grave of the Fireflies feeling from these novellas, especially this one? After all, how different is the Meteor incident from what happened in Hiroshima, and is Geostigma not another portrayal of the radiation effects that plagued Japan for decades after WWII?
It would be a wonderful gift if these cases were somehow showcased as an epilogue in the remake. It would bring a lot of surreal realism to the whole story; show cast how the events affected the whole world, and that sometimes there is no happily ever after. Life goes on, and that is what is after.
Thank you for doing these narrations, you guys all did an excellent job and service to the fans,This whole series. The series was an emotional rollar coaster tugging at my tears and heart, it was very well written and done. Made me fall in love with FF7 even more so and reminded me why I love that entry to the series the most.
I was hoping Denzel would join the army because it would've been awesome to see him become at least a decent fighter but oh well. Still really enjoyed this and looking forward to the rest!!!!!!!!!!
Dude thanks for that wonderful content! Thanks to you my eyes are swollen red! Now the ff7 universe are finally more transparent to me.. Tha k you! A kid from 2020! Am a new child to this fandom tho
