Tifa's mindset is that of a Wife and mother. She loves Cloud that she doesn't want to be "selfish" and make Cloud do what she wants, but at the same time she also longs for Cloud's attention and time. This just made me love her character more. My wife was once like her before she died. I just wish I could meet someone like Tifa again, then I'll go all out giving her the time and love she needs. I can also relate to what Cloud feels. I blame myself for the death of my wife. It made me depressed, so much that sometimes I space out even from our own kids, and I became more quiet and serious that they hardly see me laugh. Some of you may judge Cloud as selfish, but trust me, I know how he feels, and it isn't easy.
The creators of Cloud and the other heroes of the story wanted all of them to have real human flaws. We all have flaws, because we're human. Survivors' guilt is real and I suffer from it too from my best friends lost in combat, and I question why they had to go and why I wasn't taken too. Bouts of depression, alcohol abuse, and finally it all almost ended with a cold barrel in my mouth with a round in the chamber ready to go. I couldn't do it in the end. I came to learn that this wasn't the way my brothers wanted me to live, because if they were alive, they would be doing all kinds of things that I still had the opportunity to do. They'd probably call me a giant p*ssy if they saw the sorry state i was in. Sorry for your loss man. Live your life the way your wife would want you to live if she is still watching you. I dont think its romance tho(PURELY MY OPINION, NO HARD FEELINGS MAN). And i love tifa and cloud together. No matter what anyone says that's all i believe. Call me hopeless or idiot or whatever. I think it is most likely that Cloud and Tifa end up together, while Aerith and Zack end up together in the lifestream. The determining factor though, as I see it, is that Cloud likes Aerith as both Cloud and Zack, but he likes Tifa ONLY as Cloud. Likewise, Aerith likes Zack because he's Zack, but she likes Cloud because he is both Cloud and Zack. Ultimately, I see Cloud x Aerith as a legitimate romance with actual chemistry, but that ultimately had to come to an end, not simply due to Aerith's death, but also the mutual realization that they both have first loves that they were always meant to be with. With Cloud having regained his memories along with the feelings he had always felt for Tifa, and Aerith finally reuniting with Zack in the afterlife, both of them are able to move on and settle down with their first loves while also looking back fondly on the brief times they had together. This sentiment is rather apparent at the ending of Advent Children, where Zack and Aerith bid farewell to Cloud and disappear into the afterlife together, while Cloud is finally home with Tifa and their friends and family: ruclips.net/video/hVMwPXzgjzE/видео.html. Neko Nekota it’s covered in Aerith’s part of the book, she loves Cloud (Zack is addressed in the first book as her old love but Cloud is her true love, Zacks apparently just a bro who comes up from the stream every now and then to check on cloud) almost likely cloud loved both women, and felt guilty about failing to save her.

And Denzel became the connection that strengthened Cloud and Tifa's relationship while they were both suffering in silence!
Cloud became more depressed because of his guilt for losing Aerith, then Danzel arrived and he starts spending more time with everyone, opening up a little bit more. I love how CoT brings out that life is not a fairy tail, even if you are surrounded by family. Unlike every other FF, you can actually see the aftermath of how the story (so to speak) had an impact on the charcters. I never thought Tifa was so troubled; she always looked so cheerful, smiling, strong and kind; but this shows us that she is no superhuman: she also harbours doubt, pain, guilt, shame, confusion, and every other emotion. After hearing this I can see now why this is called On a Way to a Smile; and I bet the rest of the cases are the same. And I think I understand why her case ended so abruptly: her's and her family's smile finally comes in the end of AC. Buuut this is just my opinion. The conversations they have show Cloud thinks of Tifa as his partner. Why would he worry she'd be mad about the bike and visiting the church if it was otherwise, even if he was too shy to act on his feelings?
"I haven't fixed the problem. Well, I don't think I'll ever fix it. You can't retrieve lost lives..." 18:38 so the guilt was still eating away at him during this time hmm
There's a double meaning behind that as well. The biggest secret Cloud is keeping from Tifa at this time is that he also has Geostigma, and since there's no cure for that disease, he was beginning to see his own life as being lost.

If there is one word that can summarize FF7's characters, it's "complicated." I think, for the sake of our own sanity and to remain faithful to the way these characters are written and developed, we need to stop shoehorning them into holes.
The Ultimania are not official sources as unedited and published by Square Enix Moreover in the official guide of Dirige of Cerberus that released SE on the profile of Tifa it is said that she and Cloud are childhood friends and not a couple And in the FFVII Renuion Files on the Cloud profile it is said that for him Tifa is a maternal figure besides being his friend
They do not form a couple but a family of friends in which are together Cloud, Tifa, Marlene, Denzel and BARRET !!! Barret also lives with them but went into AC to come back to live with them in DoC
this just confirms how much cloud can't get over Aerith..that he had to hide going to her church because tifa would get jealous. That the only reason he started to show up back at the bar was because of denzel(who he thought aerith brought to him)...I feel bad for tifa, but...she shouldn't try to change the way he feels.
skyler sanchez not exactly.. according to nomura.. cloud feels guilty! Post Final Fantasy VII is the only time cloud has to accept deaths of both zach and aeris. He obviously has mental issues about failing to save anyone by this point and couldnt get over that. Being distant with Tifa doesnt confirm he loves aeris better. According to nomura the more “Happier cloud is the more guilty he even feels inside” so he’s actually very happy and satisfied, he just feeling so much guilt on the inside by doing so. Plus this is the time he contracted geostigma? He loves his family including tifa..

Some of y'all are not up to date with ultimania and the whole FF7 lore ( canon ones, not the BS fan theories) and it shows. Tifa was always his heart's hidden desire. But survivor's guilt, depression over failure, anxiety made it take a back sit. After AC, he finally moved on and was ready to seek the happiness he deserved with Tifa
Cloud loves Aerith man. That’s why he feels Aerith brought Denzel to him. Also in advent children she gets jealous of Aerith “which is it, a memory or us?”

Well, what's the point of dwelling in the past? Is a memory more important than the living? No wonder Sephiroth keeps coming back "I will never be a memory." because Cloud can't get over the past... the memories. At the end of AC, Aerith and Zack said Cloud doesn't belong there in the Lifestream with them that's why he came back and that's when everything gets resolved.

+Shadow Warrior i cant blieve it yaaaaay
The Ultimania are not official sources as unedited and published by Square Enix
Moreover in the official guide of Dirige of Cerberus that released SE on the profile of Tifa it is said that she and Cloud are childhood friends and not a couple
And in the FFVII Renuion Files on the Cloud profile it is said that for him Tifa is a maternal figure besides being his friend
They do not form a couple but a family of friends in which are together Cloud, Tifa, Marlene, Denzel and BARRET !!!
Barret also lives with them but went into AC to come back to live with them in DoC
There are more files in the list but say they are personal. Are there more records of the case of Tifa?
Im wondering that too. It seems to end rather abruptly
Damn these audiobooks are ao good ❤
What’s the name of the song that plays in the background at 14:48?
That's 'Sunshine' byTakaharu Ishimoto, from the ACC/Episode Denzel soundtrack.
Tifa's voice is the same than Yuna's?
Thank you ! Cant wait to listen to the rest
Is there any more episode of this series?
There's Episode Denzel, Barret, Yuffie, Nanaki, Shinra and Lifestream.

Yay!! I've been looking forward to this for ages!!
Sorry for the wait :P
Poor Tifa. I like Cloti but man, I just want them to be happy :( they deserve a happier ending post game
Damn no continuation on this Tifa ep?

the story before AC?
I have a question about the audiobook. Is the audiobook reading the entire book or just a few chapters of it?
By the way i can't find some of the musics
can you give the links of it... plsss T-T
Where I can find part 4 or any link?
This is the prelude to Advent children.
ahh shit the feels
Cloud was the first porter
Is this canon?
You keep asking that. Yes, On The Way To A Smile is canon.
my place? what do u mean? that cloud has another house somewhere else?
@@dsennack7792 That's not it at all. You clearly don't understand Cloud.
@@dsennack7792 Some of you don't understand the difference between guilt and love lol.
@@z.z.1638 But we understand lol , Cloud loved Aerith
@@z.z.1638 guilt for 2 years? I don't get Cloud at all. Forget about Aerith already if he loved Tifa.
damn this is sooooooooooooo saaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
Kiligmats
Do more
AAHHHHHHHHHHHHH THE FEEEEEEEEEEELS
this just confirms how much cloud can't get over Aerith..that he had to hide going to her church because tifa would get jealous.
@Aaron9 Loved. Past tense. Why so rude? Plus, he should learn to move on. It is not like he doesn't have any interest in Tifa at all.
If anyone here wants answers to the love triangle debate, Squall of Seed wrote an EXHAUSTIVE analysis of it for the lifestream.net that one could easily turn into 1000+ page book. It pretty much wraps up the debate once and for all.

@@LoneWolf-ow8cn because he knows that Cloud and Tifa is canon. He just can't accept it.
shaoran193 I see Aaron9 has been writing rude comments just because he shipped cloud and Aerith 🤦♀️ he have called countless ppl bad names just because ppl stated cloud loves Tifa but felt guilty toward Aerith n zack
cloud feels guilt because he doesn't want to hurt tifa yet can't give her what she desires. his heart is somewhere else.
bullshit. more like he was troubled by guilt, and doesnt have any capacity for other things

No
@Aaron9 Aerith is in the past. Nobody knows about the present and future. Tifa and everyone else wants him to move on from his guilt.

@Aaron9 nobody agrees with you.
Man, this book makes Tifa seem like a really selfish brat lol . Still good though!
I think we are all this way sometimes we keep the thoughts in our head so we don't offend the ones we love that is what makes her relatable in this story I think I can relate with all the characters in ff7
I think overthinking is not being selfish. What do you suggest she could have done then?
