In this case Sukuna is a helpful, honest and just an overall good person, behaving like a chad and older bother towards Yuji to get the best out of him and make him stronger. Ngl, a good person Sukuna as a brother/mentor character does go kinda hard.

They just pulled the bait and switch with Gojo getting his shit together and Geto going off the deep end instead.
That would've made for one hell of a story. When Gojo said "Perhaps you haven't realized it yet... the only reason you were the strongest Sorcerer is simply because... I wasn't born yet." That right there made him my favorite character 🔥🙏🏿🔥
