@@ezbgames I wanna try it, but i'm not big on solo board games. Guess we talked about it before, but if i have to play solo, then generally i just play something on the PC heh. Anyways, i'll watch your full video later tonight, just saw first few minutes now and saving for later, since im in the middle of something! cheers!
This game is a gem. Also, they really need to reprint the expansion Days of the Siege, it is IMPOSSIBLE to find that anywhere. Apparently it has something to do with the publishing rights switching hands, and the new company just isn't interested in reprinting that expansion at the moment. Bummer. Having played the game a fair bit of amount, I do have a nitpick. I think the "house" part of the game is extremely well-done, especially when you slowly see you efforts reflected in the various fittings you install at your "home base". But on the other hand, I kind of feel like the Scavenging part of the game feels a bit underdeveloped. I appreciate that there are lot of "locations" to visit in the Location deck, but a lot of them feel really "same-ish" except a slightly different roll table for loot. Idk, maybe it's because they all draw from the same exploration deck? On the other hand, I understand why they have to streamline that part of the experience, as providing "actual maps" for different scavenging areas would probably have blown the scope of the game out of proportion.
I love this comment. I completely agree! I think they could have made some sort of an expansion for deepening the scavange part. For the home- I wish it would have been just a bit easier to clear more things. The game is already SO PUNISHING! So... at least let the house part be a bit easier :)
Agghhhhh! This game has been at the very top of my "to aquire" list for ages. And every time it gets shoved to the side and something else marches right by it. At this point, I doubt I will ever get this in my hands. Question, do you have the retail or the crowd funded version? Great video as usual and you are looking healthy. Now keep it like that. 😏
Ohhh how come you think you'll never have it..? I got the retail version. This game is with me from the early days of the hobby, back when I still got my games from Amazon lol Thank you so much! I feel good and ready to upload more content 😊
@@ezbgames Honestly, it's just a guts feeling. It has ben shoved so many times aside by now, it subconsciously has probably earned the "that one game that never will be" lable for good. I mean, I look at my open acquisition list, it sits in spot #1 and the I go and purchase #85 with an out of whack price tag. 🤷🏻♂️ Did I mention that I am weird? 😏😜 There is nothing wrong with buying games from Amazon. They have sensational board game sales on a regular basis. My last purchase was Revive for under €30. Hell, I even order from Philibert every once in a while. Yes, I obviously have a board game problem.
Hahahahahahaha Not weird at all my friend.. totally normal for the board game community 😉 Revivie for less than 30$ is amazing. I didn't keep this game in my collection, but it's not a bad one and for sure for this price.
It's a really good game. I've been through the Siege of Sarajevo, and I was amazed how good the Book of Script was.
Wow.. I'm in just shock now.
I'm so sorry you had to experience these.... atrocities 😔
Thank you so much for writing this comment ❤
I played the PC version only, always been curious about the actual board game!
Definitely not falling from the PC game.. this one is a must in my opinion

Ha, RUclips deleted my comment again. Unbelievable!
Looking forward to play Revive tomorrow.
I saw it!
And I was thinking "what t'hell happened here??"
Super weird..
Enjoy Revive! Let me know how it was 😊
I played this game a bit on the PC, it was difficult as I remember.. And bleak..
It's not an easy one, but it's an amazing one for sure!
