      Ditto. I’m a 78’ born and was 5 when he was drafted. I was young but I was a fan of basketball even at that age because of uncles and my grandpa who were deep deep sports fanatics during the bird/magic era. I witnessed it all. From his insane boston games to his first championship to his last. Must watch TV was when he played. Those days. The feeling was incredible. They played so hard man. The whole dam league did. Not just MJ. It was a defensively great league then. Scoring was just secondary to it. It came as a result of great defensive efficiency. Not only that but teams then stayed together longer. They had amazing chemistry. Players knew eachothers strengths and weaknesses. It’s hard to explain but those days were just insanely great. Miss it dearly……🙏🏼😔👍🏼🤙🏼✊🏼

    This is what the youth of today don't understand. No other player in nba history played with as much skill, creativity, efficiency, intensity and success, at full throttle for the full 48 mins on both ends of the floor, which led to team success, like mj did... no other player compares to him to date 🎯...

    • @beckwith46
      @beckwith46 Год назад

      Michael wouldn’t average 50 or 60. First he wouldn’t be taking 85% of his teams shots. Second just like he didn’t win any championships until he was paired with Pippen and Rodman and a great supporting cast. Third, because he was the only thing keeping the NBA afloat at that particular time, they gave him special treatment.

I've probably spent more time watching highlights of him then watching Lebron (who I really dislike) play in real time. As a fan and former player, Mike has the most electric game I have ever seen, maybe on both ends of the court, and his mentality, although I am sure was tough to be around at times, is what led to his success. He also didn't try to get coaches fired if they didn't succeed like Lebron. He tried to strengthen the relationship. He took full accountability which I appreciate. When he told you what he was gonna do to you it was because he'd already done it 1000 times before he walked onto the floor. His greatest strength was probably that he didn't take any of his god-given talents for granted. He was the hardest worker in the league.
