Not sure, but I'm sure the case is listed on the Music Man website. And in my experience, Stingrays handle alternate tunings very well... I'm sure this bass would crush in D standard :)
paul reed feels great... nice and slim, and the short scale makes it so easy and fun to play. Frets are great, Ernie Ball doesn’t skimp on the details... Quality workmanship for sure. Signal path was bass-> Noble tube preamp/DI-> Apogee One-> laptop
This is the Ernie Ball - $2K +. I have one and love it but I also have one of the Sterlings which I had defretted. Not exactly the same as the Ernie Ball but very, very cool and the sound is very much the same.
Its really cool how they give you series ,single and parallel on these short scales
Yes and they should have a 34 inch setup like this too.
OMG sounds fantastic 🎶🤩
I love it
Love this Model of the short scale Music Man...not really fond of the roasted maple but it'll do.
What kind of case does a short scale Ray arrive in? Also, can you tune it to D standard? Great demo, btw.

I contacted Ernie Ball and Guitar Center, both say is comes with a hard shell case
I bought the Starry Night color version about 5 months ago and it did come with a very nice hardshell case like their other basses. Great bass!
It also fits in many regular guitar gig bags like the Gator and the Mono.
What strings are you using ?
how does the neck feel ? How's the fret job? What are you playing through?

@@DerekFrankBass Awesome thanks...so that's the bass itself we're hearing, not a pre-programmed sound?
paul reed yes, 100% live. No eq or any post production. Noble is set pretty flat, just a lil bit of bass boost.
@@DerekFrankBass thanks again.. great demo and great playing btw...subscribing
Is this the $2000 Bass or the $500 Bass ?
