I just ordered this exact bass after watching a few of these reviews. i have a Gretsch short scale, but don't really like the pu placements. I've always loved the Music Man sound and had NO idea they made a short scale that I could afford!!!

Ive looked and so many videos on this bass, what are the positions for the dynamic tone controls... like what position is what?
Mostly bass full, a touch of mid and the treble all the way down!
Sounds great! Most short scales don't sound that tight on the low string. It must have some heavier strings on it?
Nope. 45-105 stock Ernie Ball 2852
Sounds just as good using 40-95 Cobalts.

This is the short scale, so the $550 one. I don't think Sterling makes a $300 short scale.
