    idk why youtube recommended this to me but its nice to see your journey on passing the test. I would say that you could've just used genki 1 and genki 2 and passed it equally since n4 is pretty easy but hey, everyone learns in a different way. glad you found yours. cheers mate.

      Happy RUclips recommended this video. And congratualations passing your N4! Yeah, Genki 1 & 2/ Minna No Nihongo 1 & 2 gets you around the level you need for the exam. But I'm extra careful and wanted to secure a pass and a well-rounded understanding also. Thanks for checking this out. And I'm happy it helped a little.

      How it's been with your JLPT?

    6:04 I picked this up without looking through it thoroughly and months (I'll be honest, a year) later when I began to get serious about studying for the jlpt, I looked through it and I find myself completely intimidated by it. There's not a lick of english in it, which makes me think the level is too high? Then again, maybe this is what I need. Now that I think about it, the jlpt will probably be 100% Japanese, yes? I was assuming the lower levels would have some english, while the higher levels would not.
    It has quite a bit of furigana which is helpful and is jogging my memory on some kanji, but I wonder if it will force me to ready myself in time (less than 3 months) or is an indicator that I aimed too high. I hear that the N5 is for really basic beginners and I've been studying off and on for over 4 years, so I registered for the N4, instead of N5.

    hey. I was thinking about buying the New Kanzen Master JLPT N4: Grammar book you showed off. Does it have an answer key in the book?
    Thanks

    Thanks for the video. Im probably not going for the December test but Im just bad in exams in general so textbooks arent going to help me though I may know the vocab/grammar (regardless of language - it is usually the exam format). Gonna try the recommended books

      Anytime! If you don't go through the textbooks, at least check out a grammar list online and a vocab list for N4 to double check your knowledge. It's possible passing without these books but they just help provide some kind of a structure. Good luck!

    Hi Mally! Thanks for the video, it's very helpful :) Just would like to know why did you choose the Speed Master book for reading over the New Kanzen Master? I'm considering getting one of them but I'm not too sure, would appreciate any comments:) thanks!

    • @MobileMally
      @MobileMally  5 лет назад

      Hey PML Cheung! Thanks for watching! Glad it was helpful! I couldn't get my hands on the New Kanzen Master book for reading at that time, otherwise, I'd recommend that, as Kanzen Master over-prepares you for the exam allowing you to take it with ease.
