why did it take me so long to discover this man's music?
Don't feel bad...it's 2020 and I just found him. Bookmarked this and will listen offend. His version of Malaguena is fantastic. It was played at my first wedding as I walked down 133 stairs in the Sunny Jim Cave below The Cave Store in La Jolla back in 1966. Thanks for the memories.

Michael Lucarelli i must Say that your Very good at guitar just Reminds me of myself when i play honestly i learned this by watching and hearing you play this song and the one you did Ave Maria i think it was brings back memories of both songs with my mom but i am very good at hearing and eye sight i learned Ozzy Osbourne's song Crazy Train by doing the same thing along with the James bond theme and Duke nukem theme and every other band /song i heard by heart

Once again, rather rough and heavy handed. Needs polish. It's all technique and little emotion.
ACamature - Do you demonstrate how to write a book every time you criticise a novel?
I haven't missed the point at all. However, it would seem that you HAVE. Since when does one have to be qualified to teach before they can offer a personal opinion? The guy's talent is obvious, and I acknowledged this on another of his videos. However, the fact still remains that I find some of his playing somewhat heavy-handed. For me to state otherwise would be a lie.
The guy is also somewhat prolific, and I think he would be better served to aim for quality over quantity. Once again, this is merely my personal opinion. As far as I know, I don't need a teaching certificate to hold THIS opinion, either.
For what it's worth, I've been playing since 1973, and I've been on the receiving end of criticism, which only served to make me try harder. As it should. A guitarist who only receives praise will be all the slower to improve. Mr Lucarelli will be fully aware of this.
I have no desire to teach; nor have I any desire to post videos on YT. Take from this whatever you will. Either way, the world still turns, and I won't be losing any sleep.
True what you say. I'm still a beginner at Classical guitar but feel the same regarding his playing.
And when will your version be out? Show us how it’s supposed to be played.
