    Hi, Sorry but I cannot understand how everything touching the ground is negatively charged, could please explain it to me?

      Great question. Since this video was last filmed, Eva Clean has updated their terminology for the process. Here is an explanation directly from their website: "The electrostatic charge (which can be turned on or off by the user) is simply an assistive mechanism to aid the user in more efficient and comprehensive application of EPA Registered chemical disinfectants and sanitizers to surfaces." "The electrostatic charge of the sprayer allows the droplets to attract to the surface rather than float in the air, as is typically associated with a mister or fogger." So not everything touching the ground is necessarily negative, but the sprayer uses electrostatic technology (positive and negative charges) to target surfaces. Hopefully this is helpful! You can visit their website as well for more details. evaclean.com

    What is the point of this surface beyond a general disinfecting clean? Im guessing customers want this just to cover tons of items and space that might not typically be disinfected? Do you recommend all customers get this service a few times a year?

      This video was published during COVID and that is when we were performing this service regularly. We still do when an office has a breakout or an exam room has been occupied by someone with a serious/contagious illness.

    but how do we know what is an effective machine or what characteristics it should have to function effectively? Just as there are so many fake masks in the market now, there seems to be all types of devices and it's difficult to tell them apart.

      Stick with the best. Victory and Protexus are the same units but one is green and one is black and white. They are both reliable units and are now readily available. They come in handheld and backpack versions. Handheld for smaller areas(OR's, patient care) and backpacks for larger areas.
      Check out these links and good luck:

    How many tabs for 2.5 gallons?

    • @OctoCleanMedia
      @OctoCleanMedia  2 года назад

      That will depend on what you are trying to kill. According to PurTab's website it is, one tab per 1 quart of water for hospital grade disinfecting and four tabs per 1 quart for sporicidal disinfectant effective against C. diff spores. Here is a link: www.evaclean.com/products/purtabs

    Can the sprayer be used with isopropyl alcohol?

    • @OctoCleanMedia
      @OctoCleanMedia  3 года назад

      We recommend only using disinfectants that are labeled for use as an aerosol/mist. It is always safest to use the disinfectants recommended or manufactured by the company that produced your sprayer. Isopropyl alcohol can cause irritation or other side effects if inhaled or if it gets into your eyes. Always prioritize your safety!

      There is no residual effect to this process. Safe environments require protocols including health checks, disinfection and mitigation as needed.

    Iʻve read a PURTABS literature that four (4) 3.3g PURTABS per quart to kill the coronavirus, and you say itʻs two (2) PURTABS. Where can I find the current dilution chart? Thanks in advance.

      Here is a good resource for you. Consider the size of tablet you are using and the unit you are using. This website should clear things up for you. zogics.com/evaclean-purtabs-disinfecting-tablets/

    Why do they build things like this with tanks that are inherently hard to clean?
    Must be a design to fail feature.

      There is no residual effect to this process. As long as you keep infected persons out of the space it continues to be safe. Maintaining a safe environment requires protocols including health checks, disinfection and mitigation as needed.
