    Hey Larry, greetings from the UK! Thank you so much for this video. I'm a new Life Coach and Mentor and I'm building my Coaching business and currently growing my email list. I really enjoyed following the step-by-step explanation on how to create the customer journey in Mailchimp. Your video was far more comprehensive and helpful than some that I viewed. Keep up the great work. I'm now a Subscriber! 😊

    Hello Larry!
    I just wanted to ask you about putting together a LEAD MAGNET by utilizing Groovepages and mailchimp platform. Have you made a video where you build a groovepages optin page and bridge the mailchimp with a free digital eBook and then back to groovepages with thank you page before? if not, can you make one video for us? I think if you make this video you'll have more viewers to watch because this is what viewers want to put together on the groovepages. Thank you Larry - Thomas

    Hello and thanks! I am wanting to create a free course with a landing page with a PDF guide and a series of daily lessons with an unlisted video for each. Do I follow the same format or are there things I need to do differently?

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  5 месяцев назад

      Hi Michele 👋, thanks for the question. One Customer Journey can do all that for you.
      The starting trigger is the tag associated with the Mailchimp landing page; the initial email is a brief welcome/intro to the free course with the PDF guide for contacts to download; from there, you can add the subsequent emails for the daily lessons and a 1-day delay between each email. At the end of the Journey/Free Course, you may want to add a tag based on engagement (opens, clicks) using the if/then option to have contacts enter another Journey - perhaps toward a course purchase. Let me know if you have any more questions. Happy to help!

    What's the difference of wait and delay here?

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  Год назад

      Thanks for the question. Delay refers to time delay. Using wait pauses your contacts in your customer journey until they meet a condition ( not time related) that you’ve set.

    Hey Larry, I need to make a 5 - email followup automation for anyone who takes me up on my free instructional video offer housed on YT. I wonder if you have a video on creating these types of email campaigns. THe object is to get them to finally purchase my full course. AS I put the offers out on social media to go get the freebie, new people will trickle in (hopefully) so it has to be automatic to start the 5 email sequence.

      Hi Stephen - thanks for your question. This video maybe more aligned with what you are looking to do. ruclips.net/video/_re322EPDG4/видео.html. You'll definitely what to strategize and plan out your sequence. Are you looking for what should be in each email content-wise?

    Why do you remove the tag at the end?

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  Год назад

      Hi there - thanks for the question. Since the contact received the marketing ebook, I check for further engagement at set intervals; if there isn't any, I remove the "marketingebook" tag and apply a different tag, such as "disengaged," which will kick off another journey with subsequent emails to get the contact re-engaged.

      If you have never created a Classic Automation, go to All Campaigns, under view by type, click on Automations, here it will say something like, you haven't created an automation, create one now, with a link or button to create a Classic Automation.

    Do you need to have a paid account in order to have a "payment" block? Because I am not showing that as an option for block choices, when creating the design.

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  Год назад

      Hi Cheri - 👋 Thanks for your question. When you go to the All Campaigns dashboard do you see a blue banner at the top? It says something like this -
      Shoppable landing pages will retire this summer
      *After a certain point, you won't be able to use payment blocks*. We're working on solutions to let you sell or promote products through other means. No action is needed at this point, and you can continue selling through [published] landing pages until blocks are retired.
      I no longer have a payment block option and I have a paid account.
      If you have any other questions please let me know. Happy to help. 👍

      @ZA-tx3cx 2 года назад

      @@LarrySnow some existing contacts have the assigned tag, but they didn't get it once the journey was turned on. another issue was new sign-ups weren't receiving it either, though a few did. where do i check for a queue? is there a setting for sending it ASAP? I've only handled simple campaigns before so this is all new to me. :) thanks for responding!

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  2 года назад

      @@ZA-tx3cx 1) The Journey doesn't check who previously received the tag, only new signups after it is turned on. 2) another issue was new sign-ups weren't receiving it either, though a few did. - I would verify your setup (Landing page and Journey), see for those who did not receive the email do they have the tag from the landing page, did they previously received the tag, before you turned on the Journey, are those contacts signing up through a different way i.e. a sign up form? if it still occurs contact Mailchimp support 3) See the article for Queue details - mailchimp.com/help/create-customer-journey/#View_stats_and_queue. , 3a) ASAP - I misspoke - Classic Automation has an "Immediately/ASAP" setting, Journey emails are sent with your specified time. So if you set it to As soon As Possible/1 hour, etc, it may take Mailchimp longer than the specified time.

    • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  2 года назад

      Hello! You can't use the landing page itself as a starting point, rather you use the tag that you added to the landing page editor as the starting point of the CJ.

      Sort of - watch this video form around the minute mark to about 4 minutes to create the landing page and set up the tag. ruclips.net/video/wYTq1cSpBAI/видео.html. Then use the landing page tag as the starting point (Tag added) in your Customer Journey.

    Will I be able to create a lead magnet to collect leads using a free Mailchimp account? When I click the automation, it brings me to create customer journey. I followed Larry's video in creating this exactly as mentioned. But much to my dismay, in order to use this, I have to upgrade my account to a paid version. :(

      You can create a one-off classic automation in the free account. If you don't see "Looking for the old Automation builder? Go to Classic Automations" with a link in the top right on the Customer Journey page then go to All Campaigns, under view by type, click on Automations, here it will say something like, you haven't created an automation, create one now, with a link or button to create a Classic Automation. • @LarrySnow
      @LarrySnow  2 года назад

      You'll have to have a starting point for a Journey or classic automation to automate the next email after the thank you email. Look for a starting point of if someone receives this email or something similar.
