Man. I’ve been watching these videos for the past two days, randomly selecting them on their channel. They are all great! I’m not new to off roading, been living off the ‘main’ roads my whole life. I literally grew up driving off road. But where I am it’s different. I’m up in Northern Ontario, Canada. Completey different than the rock and desert terrain you guys are running in. That looks like a blast! I’m used to back woods, mud, log trails, log corduroy roads, swampy mucky messes... pulling more days than driving, hip deep in the mire..... I’m very glad you posted all these videos! I’m flat on my back right now, hope to be mobile again in the near future, but these videos are inspirational to me! Makes me want to get up and go buy a Jeep. I’ve been running trucks all my life. Never had a Jeep. But now, I want one more than ever! I have a truck build that’s been on hold for a few years now, but now I am thinking of selling the whole thing, and moving into a Jeep project. Anyway, from one small part of the off roading world to an other, thank you! All the best in your adventures. I look forward to more videos.
These are not only the best jeep videos on RUclips but the best videos period. I'm 18 and living the dream and planning to get a 4 door JLU after college (about 3 years from now). I love everything you guys are doing and hopefully one day in the future I can meet up with you guys for some trails and good times!
The most refreshing of Moab videos I've watched. You made the trails so interesting with the right mix of commentary and filming. Also lovely rigs. Look forward to seeing more from you guys.
I love the quality of all your videos. Even though I am a classic fj40 or fj60 type of guy, you are representing the off-road community well. Thank you and I hope to meet you on the trail someday. I've seen you near Mammoth, on SR 395 before.
Once again thank you for taking the time to shar. one day I'll make the pilgrimage over from Scotland to Utah and experience it for myself, Saddest thing is My wife's sister emigrated over to Salt Lake over 20 years ago but because of my work I never get time off to go ... Thanks again for sharing you may just of inspired me to change my Wayalife :)
15:20 this makes me glad I saved money and went for the cheaper plastic bumpers on my Rubi so now I can just replace them with actually good aftermarket ones.
We did the triple threat on Thursday of EJS in a two door. We tried the waterfall going up and it almost ended with a flop. The four doors crawled right up, all two doors had to take a winch including me. At some point either on that trail or cliffhanger on big Saturday we bent the spare tire pin on a rear LOD bumper. I think we need that hitch mounted stinger you got. Great video as always.
I'm about to get my first Jeep...and I'm so excited to start getting into trail riding. While I know I'm a bit off from doing this kind of crawling, it's got my extremely hyped.
Those hoodies look official, ima be buying one with my next paycheck. And a couple of days ago i ordered a firecracked JL, my biggest motivation for that purchase was this channel. Jeep should sponser you.
First I would like to say. Ouch! When I heard the scratches, I was like wait wait... the bottom. Lol... Now I want to purchase a Jeep. The things it can do. Amazing! The best was the view of the mountains. Now that’s amazing.
I did the "triple threat" this year at EJS and I have to say that you guys captured the look AND feel of the experience in video better than any I've seen yet! Believe me, I've been trying to find one.
Start with love the videos and all the info. you supply. do you have a noticible decrease in proformance on and off the road with the 37" tires? Would you recomend changing the 4:10 gear ratio if to what?
Wish you lived closer. I recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I am wanting to lift it and run 35’s, well basically fix it up in about the same format as your Unlimited Rubicon
A great video, as usual. Beautiful views, especially at minute 25:15 of the video. A big piece of meat! :) Seriously ... envy for not having Moab here in Spain. Congratulations! awesome video!
Thank you! So glad to hear you like what you're seeing on our channel. Hoping to have part 2 of this series posted up this evening or tomorrow at the latest :)
Always enjoy watching your videos they are always awesome and it’s cool recognizing some of your friends from other videos from years past that’s super cool. All Jeeps really performed really well.
Great adventure and great to see the latest JL's out there performing. That stinger came in handy our there! Looking forward to seeing more of Moab, since I haven't been out there in way too long...
Nice, looks like lots of Fun. Did you change your gear ratio, I've seen some of your videos which are awesome and loaded with Tech Info,,,, Thanks. Hope to see you some Day in Moab..
Oh yes! Moab is the promised land haha. You guys should let us know next time you head over there, We'd love any excuse to get out to Moab! Looks like fun.
If you’re still monitoring this older video, I’m curious to know if you re-geared when you upgraded your 33s to 37s. Thanks and your videos are great. I’m going to bring my wife up to Last Chance Trail after watching your video.
love the adventure that takes place with your 2018 JL Jeeps !!! My plans are to get a unlimited rubicon recon 4x4 and take on the adventure trails as well💯👍🏽
As always, love watching your video's and wish that someday Ill be able to Join you guys on a little trip ;) Have fun with that new JL ! /Wave from Quebec !
You need to be running 37 psi to keep the TPMS warning light from coming on. What you air down to depends on the terrain you'll be wheeling on. Going down to about 16-18 is nice to soften up the ride on a rough dirt road and 12-15 is good to help you get better traction on the rocks. Unless you're running beadlocks, I probably wouldn't recommend you go lower than that.
It's only purpose is to help prevent your spare from catching ledges or obstacles as that's what will cause your tailgate to get damaged. You can have one made for cheap at any local metal working shop.
Nice film, just found your channel and buying my JLU new in end of September. What modifications is needed to be done to have those tires? You got a new subscriber from Sweden
You need to be running at least a 2.5" lift. Ideally, you'd also want to have the tires installed on wheels with 4.75" of back spacing or around there. Glad to hear you're enjoying our videos :)
Love the vid bro, but who in the world give a thumbs down to this stuff.... who are these trolls ? Are they jealous because they drive some other vehicle, are they landrover owners ??
What a great ride. Really enjoyed this. I like the stinger you made that fits in the hitch. Homemade or available part? Read down below and didn't see an answer to that. Forgive me if I missed it. Still in the wait for my Jeep (Exactly as yours). Will order decals when it's in. Cheers Al
Just bought a 2018 Rubicon with the mopar package including Fox suspension, 37's and what they claim to be functional Beadlock ProComp wheels. Was it worth the money in your opinion? Also, where can i get a stinger for my spare like the one you got? New to the life style and looking forward some tips.
The Mopar lift is a good kit and depending on how much you paid for everything, I'm sure it's a good setup. As far as stingers go, you can buy one here: www.wayalife.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=PARTS-HITCH-STINGER
I started watching your videos when I was trying to decide if I should get the JL. Think I've seen most of them, but I still re-play them in the background just cos of your choice of music! (hint: include a soundtrack when possible?)
LOL!! We're so glad that you enjoy the music that we've used. Unfortunately, they are tracks that we bought the rights to and they don't have names per se - more rather, they just have descriptions.
Wayalife :D I had a feeling it wouldn't have been easy. But awesome videos - they made me realise there was more it than just the technical test-drives.... you buy into a culture. Will definitely head down to the dealers early next year when the JL becomes available in my country.
What an awesome trip but I’m curious as to how much different the JL is from the JK? I have a JK but think I might want to get a JL and still keep my JK.
Another great video! Definitely living vicariously through you. Ordered my Punk'n Rubicon last week, checked the maps and it's only 29 hours drive from Toronto ;) In case I ever decide to do this, and since I'll likely never change from the stock 33's, how many of these trails would be accessible?
Are you kidding? You can do most of them no problem. Some will be harder than others but most have bypasses to the hardest stuff. Make sure you go with at least one other Jeep and you'll have a great time.
Thanks for the video.... i really enjoyed seeing the Moab scenery and the beautiful Jeeps. I cant wait to get back to Moab myself. Hopefully in a New JL. It will probably be stock though. Did you have the rear stinger made or buy it some where? I have bumper my rear spare a couple of times on the JK and fortunately never damaged the tailgate.
Actually, it's running a factory rear axle and a Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle. The rear locker wiring got pulled out of the plug due to the big droop his coil overs provide. Without the rear locker working, you can't get the front to turn on.
Man. I’ve been watching these videos for the past two days, randomly selecting them on their channel. They are all great! I’m not new to off roading, been living off the ‘main’ roads my whole life. Thank you so much for that! We're truly flattered and it would be great to hit some trails with you in the future.
Over the many years watching your videos. They never get old. Thanks Eddie.
We're flattered to hear you say as much, thank you :)
The most refreshing of Moab videos I've watched.
You made the trails so interesting with the right mix of commentary and filming.
Also lovely rigs. Look forward to seeing more from you guys.
Thank you, we really do appreciate it :)
I’m new to Jeep, but I just bought my Wrangler JL and watching your videos have really opened up what Jeep is really about.
Great content man!
Congrats to you on your new JL!
I don't even own a Jeep but I luv watching these videos!
Awesome, thanks!
Looks like a great trip, this is the type of stuff Jeeps were made for

Glad to hear it, thanks :)
The wrangler with black wheels, that's sick!
Golden Crack footage of what a Jeep can do was simply amazing! Thanks Wayalife. You guys do good work! :)
Thank you, we're so glad you enjoyed it :)
Thanks, since getting my JL Rubicon I have watched all your videos. Can’t wait to get mine out on some trails. Looking forward to part 2
No kidding, thank you - we're so glad you've been enjoying them.
I love the quality of all your videos. Even though I am a classic fj40 or fj60 type of guy, you are representing the off-road community well. Thank you and I hope to meet you on the trail someday. I've seen you near Mammoth, on SR 395 before.
Thank you, we really do appreciate you saying as much and that would be great to meet you in person some day.
I've been eagerly awaiting this video for 2 weeks, thanks Eddie & Cindy!!
Well, I hope we didn't disappoint :)
Wayalife No, you did not!..& I'm thrilled to see that it is "part 1", meaning there's more to come!
As usual another fantastic video. Thank you for sharing
Thank you, we're so glad you enjoyed it :)
great video - really enjoyed it. Some good useful info as well. Thank you
Awesome, glad you enjoyed it :)
Once again thank you for taking the time to shar. one day I'll make the pilgrimage over from Scotland to Utah and experience it for myself, Saddest thing is My wife's sister emigrated over to Salt Lake over 20 years ago but because of my work I never get time off to go ... If there is any way for you to make it out, I would highly recommend it.
@19:13 Wow CLose call for ED that could have turned out really bad, great save! great Video!!!!!
15:20 this makes me glad I saved money and went for the cheaper plastic bumpers on my Rubi so now I can just replace them with actually good aftermarket ones.

LOL!! If only Jeep knew we existed. Thank you for that though :)
Your jeeps r amazing. Hopefully someday I will be able to take my wrangler sport on the trails for a first adventure! Mine is white too lol.
Thank you and I hope you can and soon :)
Very cool and awesome too see the jeeps in their elements👍
Glad to hear you liked what you saw :)
First I would like to say. Ouch! When I heard the scratches, I was like wait wait... the bottom. Lol... Now I want to purchase a Jeep. The things it can do. Amazing! The best was the view of the mountains. Now that’s amazing.

Unlike the JK before, the 8-speed automatic transmission does GREAT pushing 37's. We've felt no need to regear.
thank you
Absolutely love the vids. From the east coast living vicariously through your JL and looking forward to the next adventure!
Thank you, we're so glad to hear it.
Wish you lived closer. I recently purchased a 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport. I am wanting to lift it and run 35’s, well basically fix it up in about the same format as your Unlimited Rubicon
Congratulations to you!
that stinger is deff something I will be getting, glad I saw your video
Thanks! You can order our improved version of it here www.wayalife.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=PARTS-HITCH-STINGER
Looking at the 2 JL’s just confirms for me, I love the look of tall, skinny tires! 37x12.5 look awesome!
Great video as always, can't wait to see the next video in the series.
Thanks! Working on it now :)
Just seen ur vids for the first time. Well done. Subscribed. In the process right now getting me a 2018 rubicon recon jl.
Awesome, thanks!
Impressed!looking forward for the part 2,tq
Thanks! We're working on it now :)
Though the jeep price very expensive in my country, but the jeep worth it
So beautiful and awesome. Looks like great times! That stinger was genius.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :)
Looks like SOOOOO much fun!!!
Thanks, it really was :)
A great video, as usual.
Beautiful views, especially at minute 25:15 of the video. A big piece of meat! :)
Seriously ... envy for not having Moab here in Spain.
Congratulations! awesome video!
LOL! Thank you :)
solid. That jeep is going to need a detail when you get home.
Started doing some research on the new JLU Rubicon, and found your channel. Instant subscribe, good stuff man, keep it coming.
Thank you! So glad to hear you like what you're seeing on our channel. Hoping to have part 2 of this series posted up this evening or tomorrow at the latest :)
Excellent. Thanks for sharing with us so soon after making it back. Wish I could have joined you.

Always enjoy watching your videos they are always awesome and it’s cool recognizing some of your friends from other videos from years past that’s super cool. All Jeeps really performed really well.
Awesome, thank you :)

Thanks you! Glad to see we have people watching our videos in Sweden :)
You always create awesome videos. Jet Li!
Thank you, we really appreciate it.
Thank you for your videos. Fantastic content.
So glad to hear you enjoy our videos :)
Great adventure and great to see the latest JL's out there performing.
That stinger came in handy our there! Looking forward to seeing more of Moab,
since I haven't been out there in way too long...
Thank you and yes, you really do need to get out there.
Great video. Thanks for posting!
Glad you liked it, thanks!
Cool vid I was able to see the wonderful Jeep cruise down the street but didn’t get a chance to see you but maybe next year🙏🏼😊
No kidding? I'm sorry we didn't get a chance to meet.
Great idea with the hitch stinger!
Yup, great to have if you choose to mount a spare on your tailgate.
Awesome video!!! Pro level!!! JET Li kicked ass!!!
LOL! Thank you :)
Amazing experience, thank you for sharing!
You bet, we're so glad you enjoyed it :)
Really enjoyed going along for the ride with you guys (virtually of course) looking forward to seeing which rear bumper you choose.
Thank you, we're glad you enjoyed it.
Great video! Looking forward to part 2!
Thank you, we're working on it :)
Nice, looks like lots of Fun. Did you change your gear ratio, I've seen some of your videos which are awesome and loaded with Tech Info,,,, Thanks. Hope to see you some Day in Moab..
Nope. Unlike our JK's before, so far, we've found that the new 8-speed automatic transmission to do a great job of pushing our 37's.
Awesome thanks have a good time
Thank you :)
What happened to the lockers? Did they fail on the red rubicon?
Do plan to regear? Or are the factory 4:10s ok?
Unlike the JK before, the 8-speed automatic that comes with the JL does a great job of handling 37's. No regearing is necessary.
awesome video! thanks for sharing
Glad to hear you liked it :)
Oh yes! Moab is the promised land haha. You guys should let us know next time you head over there, We'd love any excuse to get out to Moab! Looks like fun.
Well, we're pretty much there every EJS :)
Wayalife yeah us too. Maybe we'll link up one year
Love the video, was wondering if you guys air down at all? If so it hard to tell.
If you’re still monitoring this older video, I’m curious to know if you re-geared when you upgraded your 33s to 37s. Thanks and your videos are great. I’m going to bring my wife up to Last Chance Trail after watching your video.
Yes, we did regear to 5.13s. That said, 4.88 is a better fit for 37's. We eventually upgraded to 38's and that is a great fit for 5.13
Great video! I'll be there in 2 weeks!
Great videos as always , great people... got to love the new JL!
Thank you :)
love the adventure that takes place with your 2018 JL Jeeps !!! My plans are to get a unlimited rubicon recon 4x4 and take on the adventure trails as well💯👍🏽
Glad to hear you enjoyed it :)
Great vid per usual ...
Thank you :)
As always, love watching your video's and wish that someday Ill be able to Join you guys on a little trip ;) Have fun with that new JL ! /Wave from Quebec !
Thank you. It'd be great if you could join us someday :)
Good stuff! What kind of exhaust is on the red jk?
Dynomax Rock Crawler.
We did this trail this year but we started on the poisin spider trail and exited out gold bar rim
Triple Threat - that's how most people do it and it's what we did later on in the week.
what is wrong with people who press the deslike bottom??? this is a great video!
Amazing vedio!!! Have you changed gear ratio when you put on those 37s?
Nope. Unlike the JK before, the all new 8-speed automatic that comes on the JL's manage 37's without any issues.
When you air down, what pressure do you go to, and what is the regular pressure? Thanks!
Awesome video, Rock crawling at its best!
Thank you :)
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Do you have a link on that hitch mounted stinger? And any discussion on why it's needed? Is it there to protect the spare tire from catching a ledge?
It's only purpose is to help prevent your spare from catching ledges or obstacles as that's what will cause your tailgate to get damaged. You can have one made for cheap at any local metal working shop.
Hi Eddie! Another great video! Have you changed gears for the 37's yet?
With 4.10 gears and the new 8-speed auto, we haven't felt a need for it the way we did on the JK.
Great video as always. Glad I didn't take my unlocked XJ on Golden Spike last week in Moab!
Thank you!
Love the vid bro, but who in the world give a thumbs down to this stuff.... who are these trolls ? Are they jealous because they drive some other vehicle, are they landrover owners ??
Were you running the stock dana44s with the 37" coopers?
Yup. With 37's, the factory 44's do great.
Where did you guys get that rear bumper slider? I need on for a trip comming up soon.
We had it made at a hitch shop.
I ran with this idea thanks to you. It 100% saved my tailgate this weekend. Thanks!
Another great video!!
Thank you :)
Love the videos...sooo informative!! Are you running a suspension, or body lift? I'm assuming suspension..
Thanks!
Suspension lift is really the only thing you should run.
When Tony had the problem of losing power during the shift, was he in drive? If so do you think being in manual would have fixed the issue?
Yes, he was in drive and yes, the answer to this problem is to be in manual mode. You will see more of this in part 2.
What a great ride. Really enjoyed this. I like the stinger you made that fits in the hitch. Homemade or available part? Read down below and didn't see an answer to that. Forgive me if I missed it. Still in the wait for my Jeep (Exactly as yours). Will order decals when it's in. Cheers Al
A friend of our made it and gave it to us as a gift. We know lots of people who've had one made at a metal working shop for cheap too.
Sooooo, have you made a decision on which rear bumper your going to install?
Actually, none for now. We just pulled the factory rear bumper and are currently running bumperless.
Wayalife is there any rear recovery points with no rear bumper? Or are you going to run with a hitch mounted shackle temporarily?
Great video once again!
Thank you :)
Is there a reason to not have your spare resting on the bumper. My 35s just touch the bumper
Nope, you'll be fine with what you're seeing.
Why didn't y'all show the whole video when you crossed golden crack? Awesome video, I like the painted fenders and black top
LOL! Mainly because we were stopping to take a lot of photos. Also, it'd be pretty slow and boring.
Where did you get the rear hitch stinger? I’ve been looking for one everywhere
I make it but now have a better version of it here www.wayalife.com/store/proddetail.php?prod=PARTS-HITCH-STINGER
Wayalife Thanks! Love your videos!! I signed up to be emailed when they are available. Any idea on a timeframe?
Hoping to have more in a couple of weeks.
Just bought one!!!!!
What an awesome trip but I’m curious as to how much different the JL is from the JK? I have a JK but think I might want to get a JL and still keep my JK.
Comparing them stock to stock, the JL wins it hands down. Comparing a JL to something like Moby, there's really no comparison.
Wayalife I’m waiting for the diesel JL in a 4dr Rubicon.
A friend of mine had it made at a local metal working shop and gave it to us as a gift. Apparently, it was pretty cheap to make.
The red Rubicon looked like it has Currie axels in it. Why doesn't it have lockers?
Actually, it's running a factory rear axle and a Dynatrac ProRock 44 front axle. The rear locker wiring got pulled out of the plug due to the big droop his coil overs provide. Without the rear locker working, you can't get the front to turn on.
Great videos.!
did you make the stinger yourself?
Yes. I have a new and improved one here: jlwrangler.com/showthread.php?1494-HITCH-STINGERS-are-NOW-AVAILABLE-Order-Yours-Today!!
Great video as usual. Are you planning a gear swap? Are you finding it's ok, driving, Highway, etc,?
Honestly, so far, the new 8-speed automatic is pushing our 37's amazingly well. Unlike the JK before, I literally feel no need to regear at this time.
Excellent video...1988 wrangler 2.4 liter.... can i do this as well?
Built up, it can do a lot but the short wheel base and lack of power would put it at a disadvantage out in Moab.
