I love LP and Mike Shinoda. But: Dark Side trended because it's a good song (not because it had LP influences...and Mike sounds a bit arrogant to say so). I totally agree with Mike...the more you listen Blind Channel the more they sound like...well...Blind Channel.
They also said that it’s their dream to make music with Mike and it’s kinda disappointing seeing how he reacted to them
Yeah, Mike has a tendency to come off as arrogant. I do not think he meant to be condescending, but that's what it sounds like...
Many have described Blind Channel as a "cheap copy of LP." When the boys in BC saw this comment from Mike Shinoda(in Twitter), they became happy. I think, hah, those whose think "a cheap copy of LP" just got on their noses. BC is a best thing of what Violent Pop currently offers just now.
I agree with you. The BC boys were humbled to be even mentioned by him. They were happy, even though his comment is not really positive. It just shows their integrity and that they are soft on the inside.

As someone whose favorite band is blind channel, they're really doing their best to copy LP's style these days. It's not working because it sounds nothing alike but they've made it clear who inspired them
I literally looked this up because this band sounded like the wal mart, butt rock, value version of Linkin Park lol.
