This shouldn't even be happening. This is an unfair advantage, and everyone knows it. Thomas knows it. The coaches know it. Administration knows it. There is no universe in which an athlete who went through male puberty as an athlete can fairly compete against biological woman as a woman. Hormones are only a small part of it, and Thomas has more natural muscle mass, different bone structure, bigger heart, lungs, and limbs, and doesn't have to deal with loosing a pint of blood every month.

The NCAA is draconic and they remove your ability to compete and thus your scholarships for any reason. Many of these women would never get a chance to go to college without a scholarship. Its okay to stand up for others, stop expecting these kids to do it for you.
Alot of these girls have scholarships, which they lose if they dont play. They dont really have a choice.

Height isn’t the only advantage after hormone therapy- when you’ve gone through puberty as a male, you are built differently- your entire frame is an advantage. In the water, being shaped like an arrow instead of an hour glass is a huge advantage. I think one of the teammates said it best in an interview:
“While we support Lia as a person to make decisions for her own life, you cannot make that decision and then come and impede on other people and their rights,' the source continued. 'Your right doesn't supersede everyone else's right.' “

I grew up with gender disphoria and I don't support Lia at all in the same manner I don't support people who support unfairness and injustice. I see her as a cheat. Stop being empathic for someone just because they are Trans. That is like supporting Jeffrey Dahmer just because he was gay.

"She" killed the competition by being over 7 seconds. That's not normal. At such a high level, 7 seconds is an eternity. Yes it's unfair. Unfair to the women who put in the work only to have their chances being stolen by men that couldn't become great at their respective sports, so they become #1 in the womens division. It's pathetic and we in the west have completely lost the plot.

The answer is yes. Height isn’t even the biggest issue in most cases. There is science that shows things like bone density, muscle mass, heart capacity, strength, lung capacity differ between men and women and some of the advantages remain regardless of hormone therapy.
The fact that this is even a "question" just shows how insane of a time and culture we live in. How did we get to the point where this seems like a reasonable conversation?

Curious question. A while back they asked John McEnroe what he thought Serena Williams would place in men’s tennis, he said 700th. Right or wrong but good correlation, now this fruit loop is rated number one as a women. when he raced as a man where was he ranked?
And John McEnroe was blasted by many women for this statement although it was totally true. So they get what they wanted. deal with it.

I think it is Karma coming for a visit. I remember here in the States women demanding that girls be allowed to join the Boy Scouts even though they have the Girl Scouts they could join. And women demanded to be let into traditionally all-male military academies, yet they stipulated the right to retain all-female colleges. Then gyms for men were forced to go co-ed but they were allowed to maintain women only gyms and workout classes. I guess it sucks for them to finally achieve “equality” by being “oppressed” by the new preferred minority.
