He’s really a baritone?? That’s insane, I’m a baritone too so I can really appreciate how difficult it is to do what he does then!
Voice type is not exactly about vocal range 😅 and he is not belting super high actually it seems like it because he is really skilled 😅
@@quinnhuang6515 Evan isn't actually a tenor role (Jared's the tenor voice in DEH), it's more of that typical Broadway baritenor.
Just because someone can sing low notes doesn't mean they are a baritone...

I'm very intrested by his preformance. Having evan be more inocent, childlike, and suave is not a choice I instinctivley like, but it has very intresting implications on the play as a whole.
Although I think Jordan’s overall a great actor, I don’t think he knows how to turn off his inherent charismatic magnetism and I also think that doesn’t fit Evan but I love every other part of his interpretation of the character.

I was fortunate to see him as Dear Evan Hansen as my first broadway show, and it was the last night before the shutdown. The stage door wasn’t open and I wasn’t able to meet him and it still makes me extremely sad. He was absolutely amazing in the show!

I was meant to see ‘Dear Evan Hansen’ last night in London. Every theatre shut a week ago though and today in the news they said COVID19 mortalities are increasing at a steeper curve here than Lombardy in Italy.
