When the bolt goes through the wheel, the curved washer faces the mower deck, though yours looks like it is facing upwards. When the bolt is passed through the wheel, the order is curved washer facing the mower deck followed by the flat washer, passing through the plastic wheel housing and screwed into the wheel height adjustment lever. Thank you for such a detailed and informative video.
I followed the instructions despite being concerned about tipping on side.. I turned off the fuel and still filled my carburetor with oil. Shop nearby now has to clean out the carb as i don't have time/will to do that. Should have followed my instincts and just raised the back wheel a bit.. now it's in the shop for 3 weeks and will be expensive. My shop doesn't recommend this method even with the shut off gas valve
Great lawnmower unless you live in Florida. Sand builds up in the poorly sealed hard to access drive mechanism causing the shaft to rust. Mine only goes forward now. I would have expected more from Honda.
I forgot which washer go where. This video helped we get it correct thank you!
That special tool is called snap ring pliers
Thanks! Needed to see the washer placements on the rear wheel!
Thanks for the vid. A pair of split ring pliers makes the job much easier.
Do you mean "snap" ring pliers?
Thanks for the video and part numbers! The Amazon links are no longer good for the grey wheels at least.
Just fixed it thanks!

According to Honda, the curved wheel washer goes against the wheel. The image in their instructions shows the center peak towards the wheel.
He did put the curved washer on incorrectly, "note to self" don't follow this guy's instructional videos, doesn't know what he's talking about
@@frankheath1071 And he doesn't know what a snap ring clip is.
Very clearly explained and easy to follow. Thank you!
dude thank you...u saved me.... much appreciated
Pretty good video!!! Thank you!
Glad it helped!

Wonder if an HRX wheel will fit on an HRN?
I believe they are different part numbers and different sizes
Regular WD-40 is not a lube
Amazing 🫡
Sucks that this is your 3rd set of tires! Since when do lawn mower tires become consumable? Doesn’t seem right, I’m thinking Class Action
Mine is used in a commercial setting, I would think a homeowner would get about 7 years - 10 years out of it.
I got 6 years out of mine.
I got four years out of mine. And the wheels don’t reliably move backwards. steer clear of the HRR mower.
Merci Canada M.T.L Québec love wow
Can you just switch the original front wheels to the rear, and rear to the front?
